Sadly, it worked for a couple times but then when I decided to use it again it’s not working and my return period has passed. Such a bummer as I really wanted this to make quick grilled cheese’s for my grandsons.

Sweet dreams are made of cheese...grilled cheese, technically. This is my first sandwich maker of any sort and let me tell ya, this is life-changing. I just lightly butter some bread, put down some salami and pepperjack, and voila! The perfect toasty. Add a little pesto drizzle when its done and I'm just in heaven.
This is so easy to clean as well. The excess cheese just slides off like never was stuck to the surface, and its small with not very complex hot plate textures, so you can't miss a spot.

Cons-
Takes an infinity to start up. I feel like I could use a skillet to grill up the bread faster than this thing starts! You plug it in and it just sits there for a few minutes. Then it finally begins to heat up, which takes another 5 or so minutes. I have no idea what it does for the first 3 minutes after you plug it in, and there's no way to just click a button and force it to start heating up. Thankfully, the perfect little cheese toastie only takes 3 minutes.
This also produces a ton of smoke. Make sure you set this bad boy under the stove exhaust if you have one because once the ingredients are in, there's enough smoke to make Smokey the Bear concerned. It's not burning the food, though. It's just a LOT.
A little small and doesn't fit the whole slice of bread. This one is just a nitpick. It takes no effort to pull off the extra centimeter of bread but I would overall prefer not to have to do that.

Despite all these cons, I highly recommend this. The cons are mostly trivial inconveniences. At the end of the day, I have an easy and tasty lunch that's perfect to take on the go with my busy life.

The sandwich maker is a great thing. Worth the money. It makes delicious hot sandwiches. My favorite is pizza. It's not messy at all. I also have made dessert sandwiches. Buttered bread and cherry pie filling. Top with powdered sugar for a great sweet treat. It's not bulky and doesn't look awful on the counter. Works great. I bought this one to replace my older one that wouldn't warm up. My old one had removable plates and I don't know if the new one does. I will have to check the next time I use it.

This is an amazing three in one product. Item is not chunky at all definitely easy to store. Super easy and convenient to make grilled cheeses, waffles or grill anything on it. Works amazing and easy to keep clean.

Works great, I use it to make grilled turkey and cheese sandwiches. The only flaw I have with it is that the light indicating operating temperature doesn't seem to work right. It will click on and off repeatedly in rapid succession. Which is fine, I just plug the machine in, put the sandwiches together, and within a few minutes it's ready to use. Easy to clean too.

I have had this sandwich maker for a few days so my review is for its functionality. Here are the pros and cons:

Pros: 1) You can press and toast a square sandwich up to 1.5 inch thick including the thickness of bread, cheese and meat or add-ons. By gently pressing and locking it, the sandwich gets nested in its place and would be nicely toasted after a couple of minutes, 2) the cleaning is easy if no food spills out, 3) the build and workmanship is OK matching its price range: the design looks neither rugged nor cheap.

Cons: 1) If the sandwich is too thick, the fillings can spill out making a mess, 2) hard to clean the nooks and crannies if food is spilled out, 3) there is no on/off switch which is a major safety hazard since unplugging the ac plug can result in arcing at the outlet.

Overall, if the sandwich is under 1.5 inch thick, this machine could work satisfactorily. I strongly recommend connecting it through a power strip with on/off switch and overcurrent protection.

Compared to other waffle makers, it does not heat up from above. I made a big mistake not trying it right after ordering. I tried to make waffles and she did not bake them on top, only on the bottom, and the top remained white. I wanted to return it, but it's already been a month since the order date, so be careful and don't repeat my mistakes.
