Great value and quality! Easy to assemble. I definitely recommend ordering 2 sets of 2, because I stacked, they’re pretty short. We have a king and it’s quite a stretch to get down to the level.
Super cute! Lightweight, attractive design, endless uses. — The first thing I did was lay out all the different sections into the two separate tables to bigger top and bottom of the table, the sides and two legs for each, and then discovered their leg pads in the envelope so the first actual construction I did was to apply the Leg pads… BUT: Noticed only after applying for to one of the sets of legs that there were only six pads and the envelope. Had I known that to begin with? I think I would have cut them in half so there were enough to go around.
Assembling the table: The two larger segments that belong for the top of the table, and then the bottom of the table that creates the shelf in between, the holes drilled, have a distinct difference that lets you know which side to screw the screws into. There’s a divot that is to hold the screw head on one side and the hole is not that way on the other side. There are similar distinctions on every piece of wood to show which side you want to have facing out invisible are you as you use the finish table and which side you want facing in or which side the screw should be entered into. Just check that out closely. Be sure the four small holes in the end pieces are facing out to attach the legs there. - Down side: after several weeks of use, I can see that the tabletop blemishes easily from drinking glasses on the surface just about anything that you would normally put on a table can easily make a scratch mark in it. The scratch mark comes out, kind of like a gray line and from putting glasses of water or coffee or wine or whatever on the table top it makes these whitish rings as you can see in the last photo. - be sure to to screw the top screws in tightly enough so that the table doesn’t wobble.
A little hard to put together, but love the look! Ended up stacking two together to get the right height to be used as a night stand! They are sturdy, simple, and just what I wanted!
These are so cute for bedside tables. Pay attention to measurements, because individually, they’re pretty short. I’m tempted to but another set so both sides of the bed can have doubled up tables.
These were very easy to assemble & the quality is good for the price.
One leg bolt hole on each table would not align. Assembly was strong enough without that for our use, but still not right. Wood quality is good, height was as advertised but really short for end table use at less than 1 1/2 ft.. When assembled, the screws are visible as part of the top surface…no “plugs” are included to give a more finished look. Hard to fix wobbling on flat floor. We had to get some additional inexpensive leveling feet to fix.
Finally shorter nightstands!
I have a floor bed and all nightstands are way too tall. These are perfect! And a great price! Easy to assemble and very cute.
Put together in 15 minutes..sturdy and stylish and practical.
Okay let me start off with the Good: All the wood is good solid laminated bamboo and hard as a rock, well maybe not rock but certainly hard as maple. Reminds of maple butcher block. The finish is a nice satin finish and very smooth.
Assembly was fairly easy, just align the matching holes with piece you're attaching and screw together. The screws are Phillips head.
Stacking the units was easy and when stacked it was stable on a tile floor. I did not test it on carpet.
Now for the Bad and the Ugly:
The Bad : Size: the Product Dimensions 12.87"D x 17.32"W x 7.32"H in the description make no sense. The actual dimensions are11.5 inches x 16 inches for the table top and the unit stands just a fraction under 17 inches tall. the storage area is 7.5 inches tall. Most people will find this much too small for a night stand.
All photos in the product description are very deceiving making the product look much larger than it really is.
The Ugly: Here's where things really went downhill. The tabletops have six ugly screw holes right on top from which you can enjoy looking at the six shiny Phillips head screws. (see my photos) I have never seen a piece of furniture that had a tabletop with counter bored screw heads right on top. The screw heads sit about 1/16 inch below the surface, perfect for catching any liquids that might spill and for accumulating any dirt, wax etc. . You will notice none of screws are visible on the tabletops in any of the product description photos.
The screws are steel and appear to be zinc plated. That means they are not very rust proof so you can expect to see rust if they come into contact with any moisture. Remember, all the screw heads are exposed especially on the table tops.
The screws are all the same size and length. This is fine when assembling the top, sides, and bottom but make certain to use the included nylon washers when attaching the legs to the sides or the screws will break through the side panel.
I don't recommend using a power tool to drive the screws, use manual screw driver only.
All told, I like the basic design despite being smaller than the pictures depict, but I absolutely hate the screw holes in the top which were not shown in any of the seller's photos. For that reason alone I cannot recommend this, hence the one star rating. It looks like it would be more at home in a workshop than a bedroom or living room.
