I'm a thicker guy who was looking for a comfortable and sturdy Papasan Chair.

I've had another one before this, and was expecting it to be the same. This is NOT a traditional Papasan Chair! In some ways it's better (metal frame, easy to assemble, it swivels without you having to rub scrape a wicker frame, takes a lot of weight).

In other ways, it's not (smaller sized frame, can't sleep in it, the cushion hangs off the rim of the frame, reclining in it for extended periods of time causes me lower back pain).

This chair is better suited for a kid's or a teen's space, or a shorter adult's home/bedroom. Otherwise it's a good chair.

This chair is perfect for the space we have in our bedroom. I was able to creat a cute little reading book. The chair is extremely comfortable and sturdy. I put it together by myself in about 20 mins.

This chair is adorable!!!! We got this for our daughter’s room and it is perfect!!! I also love how it’s not a typical papasan.. the top doesn’t sit on the base it is screwed in and spins! So much more functional! I want to buy more now and redo my basement!!!
The cushion also ties in 3 places to the base so it doesn’t move.

The base of the 40" papasan chair is easy to put together and is very sturdy - It took me about 20 minutes. The deep seat is comfortable (I am 5ft 11" and 150 lbs) but my complaint is that I can feel the bars of the chair , even though I purchased the high density cushion. I speculate if the cushion is truly "high density" . Overall I like the chair ( it is in a guest room that will not be used regularly) but the cushion and cloth need to be of better quality if used daily.

Modern style.... my teen child and I like it. We are short so it work. It was difficult using the tools they provide and the space you have to move they allen key, so get your hands ready. Must me tight to keep it safe and in place. The pillow isn't not soft at all. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.

I ordered this chair for my home office, it arrived in great condition, it was very easy to assemble, the cusion is very nice and fluffy. This is a great size chair for both children and adults.

Bought this for my teenage daughter’s bedroom. Easy to put together.. she actually put it together herself. It is very cozy! she loves it and it looks good in her bedroom.
