I had serious doubts about buying this futon, because the price was so low. After I read the reviews, I bought two, for a "man cave" in the basement for my son. I am so glad that I did. They are small, but perfect for the space. They are amazingly well made, and even the fabric is nice. They are short to sleep on, but not for a kid crashing after a night of video games, and they can always sleep diagonally. I really don't think I could be more pleased. I would have spent much more for this lovely product, but I am glad that I didn't need to.

I really like this futon, especially for the comfort and price point, BUT, I have 4 children that are little busy bodies and they were not allowed to use this out of the box.
I build a very basic 2x4 frame with 3 rectangular "feet" so the futon wouldn't snap in half. You can feel the interior structure of the futon and it feels like it was built with a single 2x2, at best.
In total, the additional cost of the wood/stain was around $25 but it's well worth it and now it looks like a much more expensive piece of furniture. (Beware if you use it without adding a center support.)

This couch is comfortable and sturdy and my son loves it, but my teenage son needs the matching storage bench at the end because he is too tall for just the couch alone.

Bought this for our pre-teen daughters room. It fits perfectly under her full size loft bed and it folds flat into a small bed for when she has friends sleep over. I'm told for sitting on it is comfortable as it is firm but her couple friends who have tried it for sleeping said it was very firm and uncomfortable. Our plan was to get a roll up piece of foam to put over it for sleeping on....

She primarily uses this sofa for reading or will sit on it with a laptop table and do homework. Basically relaxing, quiet activities! She weighs just shy of 100 lbs and this sofa is suitable for '3 average adults...!!!!'
