I borrowed this same meat tenderizer/smasher from my neighbor. I used it once and was hooked. I ordered one that same night. I can’t believe how long I have lived without one of these. It works amazing for evening chicken tenderloins to make restaurant quality chicken tenders. Another tip: use panko instead of bread crumbs!

I've never had one of these, and I wish I had one every time I make chicken cordon bleu. I end up pounding the chicken using the wooden rolling pin instead, and that never works well, so I'm excited I finally decided to grab one and quit messing around with other things.

I bought this to replace my old mallet. The old one was much smaller so I had concerns about overall weight of this mallet. I'm pleasantly surprised by how easy this is to use. Deceptively light and easy to clean too!

It is nice big and heavy and tenderizes meats! I only wish it was one piece. I really hate the rubber part as it makes it difficult to clean. I don't need a slab of rubber to hang on to it.

Exceeded Expectations. Initially thought it was too light for flattening, but I was pleasantly surprised. It worked extremely well. The right size and weight for its duties. I stand corrected , no one needs a "sledge hammer" in the kitchen. Good value.
