Bought two. Red. Keep a set in the microwave. One set on the ready for when the first is in the dishwasher. Love the mat. Keeps the food secure without scooting around on the glass as it turns. Plus, it can be used as a pot holder for hot items. No more splatter to clean up. Works like a charm. The cover pops up for use, and down for storage. Great item!

My food cover needed a serious upgrade. I use to have a plastic one and it was at times hard to open it because it would enclose the heat and steam; plus the plastic would heat up a bit so it was hard to pick up. This silicone design is great. It keeps the microwave clean, but is design to let the steam out in a steady amount and not all at once when I open it. The handle is also great. The true bonus though, was the silicone matt that comes with it. It makes taking any heated dish out much simpler.

I do like this for what it is. It fits perfectly over a dish, washes so well. The only thing I do not like (and I almost sent it back) was the very top of it...the "handle" to pull the cover off. It's too small. It's too slippery. I would like it slightly larger so it's easier to grip.

I'm not attaching pic coz it's not giving any more info than I can type. Have used several times now for 2-3 min intervals to reheat food and works great! No buckling/melting, and can see steam inside of cover so food isn't drying out. Easy to clean. Silicone mat I use to put plate on once it's done in microwave and works great!

The food cover works as described protecting splatters, keeping food moist, etc. No issues there, however, it doesn’t cover the complete area of ALL of my microwave dinner plates. Works best only with 10” diameter paper plates or bowls. To be fair, that’s my fault for not reading the description of measurements before purchasing. The recessed handle could be raised a little more for easier retrieval. It requires good hand strength to collapse the cover, something hard to do arthritic hands, but may speak to its durability. I do like and enjoy the Aidacom mat for grabbing hot dish bowls from the microwave and alternately for use as a trivet.
