For the money, this little couch is great! We bought this for a convertible couch for our kids playroom in the basement. We have four kids 6 and under so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money but wanted something solid.
Assembly: super easy. My husband is a plumber and über handy with all things so this went together in a snap for us. The kids loved helping turning all the Allen wrenches. Directions were straightforward. All the hardware was present and accounted for.
Fabric: color was as described. We have the dark navy blue. I really like it. Should hide stains pretty well. It’s not the most amazing quality fabric but it’s not too soft and def. not rough or scratchy.
Comfort: this sofa is not too hard, not too soft. I was expecting it to be super stiff and uncomfortable, but it’s really quite nice. I’m 5’6” and the seat cushions come right to the back of my knees. So this couch is a bit low to the ground but that’s perfect for our needs. My husband is 6’2” and he thought is was too low, naturally. The back of the couch hits me at the top of my shoulders so to rest my head would require me to totally stretch my neck back at like an 80 degree angle. Overall, I think it’s a comfy couch.
Functionality: It is a lighter weight sofa so I can move it on my own around the room or to pull out to adjust it to a bed. It’s super easy to adjust the back sections down for the bed.
Now that the futon is in place, we are using it and enjoying the way it looks. It's quite comfortable to sit on if you've got some pillows to put on it.
The only downside was that it was quite work-intensive to put together. It's heavy (which helps the end-product to be sturdy, I know!), so simply moving the box into position, getting it all ready to assemble, took some effort. Not for frail people, I guess you could say. And there are many screws and nuts that have to be maneuvered into position, sometimes at awkward angles, to get it all together. Seems like it sometimes required 3 hands to put one bolt/nut/washer in place through two structural elements. Much easier if you have a small team of experienced furniture assemblers! We did... there were three of us there, and we did a little tag-teaming to get it done. But it's a good, solid piece of furniture to sit on. The fabric is attractive and seems quite sturdy and comfortable. Futon (fold-out) function works easily. Seems like a good piece for the price.
This is a well engineered product. Once I put it together, It was very sturdy and the fabric was nice and tight all around, exactly as pictured. The backs clicked nicely to put it flat out with the two fold out legs in the back, hidden by zippers. And clicked nicely to put it back in sofa mode. The only negatives are it was tedious to put together and took me 2 1/2 hours, even though the directions were accurate. One hole didn’t line up but I eventually coaxed it into place. And it is too firm to sleep on for me. But I expected that. They did say it was firm. I did put a twin foam mattress I had on it and slept very well. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase. I was exactly what I needed at a very reasonable price.
I’ve owned this couch (white leather) for 3 months, and am very pleased with it.
Function: It looks great in person and really makes my space look great. It’s comfy - the seat is well-padded. Additionally the leather isn’t ‘sticky’, so I can comfortably sit on it in shorts without my legs sticking. My friend slept on it (when it was unfolded) when she visited - and said it was comfy for sleeping.
Assembly: Very smooth assembly. I was able to assemble it alone as a 110lb women even though they recommend two people assembly (keep in mind if you want to do this alone: you do have to be able to flip it over yourself and it’s a couch so it’s not light), but I was pretty pleased I was able to do it solo. Only part that got tricky is during the assembly, the couch’s backrest popped up so it’s in sitting up position. It took a little while but I realized you have to lean backrest forward in order to lean it back. One of the bags of beads that is supposed to keep it dry popped open, but all I had to do was vacuum it up. I was pretty pleased with how smooth assembly all was. Overall, considering its a sleeper couch, assembly was very simple.
Overall, very pleased with couch. It looks gorgeous, it’s comfy, and it wasn’t expensive.
For years I’ve been getting my sofa/loveseats from a brand that is a good quality, but this time I’ve decided to try this sofa which looks cute but not comfortable and the leather is like tissue paper, it damages quickly. Returning it.
Pros: good assembly instructions, nice upholstery, comfortable, modern design, light enough that it COULD be assembled alone, if you’re stubborn.
Cons:
Putting the arms on was difficult: the pre-cut holes in the fabric didn’t line up quite right and required a little cutting.
The individually reclining sections of the back don’t line up completely when not horizontal.
It’s lower than a regular couch, so if your knees are bad steer clear.
Biggest flaw: center of gravity! When reclined to a bed, you can’t lay/sit on the portion that folds down, because the whole couch acts like a seesaw and will tip over.
TL;DR: good couch, is a sweesaw when unfolded.
Wow that was a lot to assemble! But it seems to be well made and I hope to have it a long time. All parts were there, assembly instructions were correct. Wrenches were included and functional. Bolts fed into inserts well, no cross threading. Just took patience and time to assemble. It looks nice, is very firm. Not purchased as a primary sleeper, may seems a bit too firm for that. Should last a long time.

We bought this sofa originally as we was moving into a tiny London flat and a flat pack sofa it was we needed. We didn’t end up in that flat in the end but this sofa is so easy to assemble and comfortable. It is firm but remember it is a bed as well

It looks very expensive and makes into a sofa bed easy. Very comfortable and found it quite easy to assemble (did it by myself) :)
