This leather is better than others, but adhesion at the edges of the leather is insufficient. There is no problem attaching this leather over the original leather. However, if you finish attaching a large piece of this leather to an edge area where the original leather was attached to the table, it keeps falling off.

I got impatient on the middle cushion, but as you can see it was really damaged. I'm pleasantly surprised the color matches so well. I would absolutely recommend using heat to get the adhesive to stick better. I used a hair dryer after application as the instructions advise. I am incredibly happy with this product. We'll see how long it takes my beautiful Mama with dementia to destroy it again.

Originally I was dissatisfied because they put a tape at the beginning and end of the roll that couldn’t be removed effectively wasting almost 18” of fabric. But they made it right when I complained and are going to use a less adhesive tape in the future. The product went on nicely and seems to be holding up well. Thank you!

Got this product in 2 days and wasn’t expecting much but the color was actually closer than I thought. Pretty easy application: I made a template out of a grocery bag, cut the vinyl then stuck it on. Hardest part was the flimsiness and stretchiness nature of the material so go slow when applying it. Not perfect but much better than before until we replace the chair. Would recommend.

This patch worked so well to cover a cracked and peeling console in my car. The color match was perfection and it adheres so well- don’t let it get stuck on itself like I did though! Doh! Glad it came with more than I needed! Very pleased!

The color was a perfect match, the only thing was it didn’t stick as well as I hoped, possibly because leather recliner leather is older, and the leather is old and a bit lifted and furry so I used extra glue I will be getting another role anyway, as I needed a bit more …

Pros:
This item looks really good although it is very difficult to apply properly (at least for us amateurs)
The price seems reasonable for the quantity provided
Appears to be of good quality and looks like real leather
Excellent customer service

Cons:
Very difficult to apply properly, especially if not used to such a task.
Easily folds over on itself which then makes that particular piece useless.
The glue does not hold well suggesting that this material would not be at all useful in high-contact areas such as the seat, backrest, or arms of furniture.

Additional note:
Be sure to carefully clean and completely dry the surface to be covered. Also, using a hair dryer or heat gun on its lowest level, can help adhere the glue to the original surface.

Hint:
If the surface to be covered is nubby like a used wool sweater, remove the nubs first using a clothes shaver for better final appearance.

I really like the product the color was excellent it was easy to work with stuck very well. The texture is very soft. I used it to repair a vinyl chair.

The roll is huge. It’s way bigger then I expected it to be. I have a ton left over (which is great).
I got this to repair the backing of my leather couch which my dog decided to chew through one day..
my husband asked me to find something to fix it as it was driving him crazy seeing it all chewed up.
I came across this one and it was a great price compared to others I saw and the exact colour I needed (black) so I got it.
It arrived quickly and again it’s a huge roll, if my dog goes on another tear I have extra lol.
It is exactly as described in colour and very easy to repair the top of my couch-no air bubbles or anything. I did put 2 layers on it and it blended in nicely to the original leather. Definitely looks better then it did.
So yes, I would definitely recommend this to others needing to fix anything leather.

Me and my husband bought an older leather couch and recently patched it and painted it and the leather repair cream did not hold and started to crack and making the couch more uncomfortable than it was before. This helped with a quick fix for one of our really bad cushions just to cover the whole thing was very easy to apply and wrap around the edges.

The quality of the leather is nice though installation can be a bit tricky. As with anything that has adhesive on the back, make sure it doesn't come in contact with itself. It is impossible to pull apart. I did waste a section when it became adhered to itself. If you are super careful and make sure to lay it right the first time, it looks good and works great. I ordered the black and it is a true black. Used it to cover the top of a leather ottoman and it looks almost new again once I got the hang of how to properly use it.
