I have two refrigerators and one upright freezer. I put one of these in the garage fridge that happened to have some forgotten rotting spinach. The odor of the rotting spinach permeated my entire fridge. I used the spinach as a test. I put one of these deodorizers in the fridge and checked a day later, and there was no odor on opening the door. I was able to only smell it when I picked it up to toss it out.
I hope this works to reduce the odor that comes off of ice cubes! I have a new fridge with an icemaker and too soon to tell yet that will work.

I was unsure as to what this product did honestly but I was very happy to know it was exactly as advertised. Initially I worried about where to put it, but it’s small and easy to place in your fridge. I didn’t realize how well it worked until I opened the fridge and realized there was no more random bad smells. It started working within the first day! I love it, and recommend since this is an investment in something you didn’t know existed but happily know you won’t be turning back.

Bought the first one to replace the baking soda in fridge. Got its first test when cut up red onions wreaked up that fridge - within 24 hours, smell completely eliminated. Bought the second one for a closet that has smelled bad for years. I tried ionic air purifier and was shocked when the smell persisted (our ion machine knocked out every smell we encountered for years until this closet defeated it). After 3 days, no smell. I don’t understand how it works but I know it works. I paid for both units and will be buying more - this is a legit review not one that was bought and paid for.
