I ordered this full size platform bed frame to upgrade from a twin bed for my 5 year old. Since it doesn’t have a headboard or foot board we have it set like a day bed, which works perfectly for the space. It was really easy to put together, most of the items that come are difficult to understand or hard to connect pieces, but this one was the easiest I have put together. The instructions were very clear and simple, so it didn’t take long at all to assemble. The bed frame has metal bars, instead of the wood slats which makes it very sturdy. There is no movement or noises with the frame at all. We have an ikea full size mattress and it fit perfectly on the frame with a little of the frame sticking out around the edges and corners. It is tall enough to be able to store bins, under bed storage drawers, or shoe storage. The only thing I don’t like is that the corner pieces are sharp, so we will be putting rubber bumpers on them to prevent any accidents. Once he gets older or we turn the bed, it will be easy to add a headboard and footboard to the frame as well. I wasn’t able to snag a picture before my husband placed the mattress on the frame, but I tried to get a good picture of the slats under the mattress to show it holds very well without any mattress sagging Through the slats. I am very happy with this frame, and for the price it is very well made and see it being able to last and grow with my son through his teenage years.

While technically designed for a full-sized mattress, we are using it to support a queen-sized mattress. Obviously, the mattress hangs over a bit, but plenty stable even so. We had anticipated maybe needing to add some addition mattress support but ended up not needing it. Minimalist design makes it easy to blend with most any decor.

It was easy to set up and I didn't need help to do it. It seems pretty sturdy and I am glad that I don't have to have a box spring for it. It feels solid with my mattress on it. Very happy with it.

Well made, very sturdy, it's tall enough to not need a box spring, all you need is a mattress. Doesn't make any noise. Simple well made bed
