I purchased the Pyrex 2 piece glass measuring cup set that included a 1-cup and 2-cup tempered glass measuring cups. I have used Pyrex for years and have always found my pieces to be of quality glass. These are heavy duty and I like how easy it is to read the measurements so getting accurate measurements of liquids is easy. I like that I can pop them into the microwave to heat any liquids. The pour spouts make it easy to transfer liquids and the handles are easy to hold. Cleaning is easy and they are dishwasher safe. Very happy with these.

My dad is like most men of 94, he tends to be too frugal sometimes. He had a four-cup measuring cup in his cupboards , and the thing had cracked at the bottom, and it was obvious he had attempted to glue it together. I poured hot water into it and of course it didn't hold, it broke again, and so I said I said, "Dad, c'mon now, sweetie, let me buy you a nicer and sturdier new measuring cup." So I did, and this is what I bought, he loves it, he uses it to bake his bread, and the markings are so clear and easy to read, even for an elderly man. It is so thick and sturdy, too. A bargain at this price for sure! I highly recommend this if you value quality of ease of use, and btw, never glue together cracked plastic and expect it to hold hot water! This bay ids pure thick glass and seems like it could survive a war.

We love using these Pyrex glass liquid measuring cups! Other kinds made of plastic wind up melting and looking like a Cezanne painting with the melted clocks after one wash in the dishwasher. These cups can go in the dishwasher, the microwave, etc. without melting or distorting shape. We prefer these over any others.

Pyrex is the Rolls-Royce of measuring cups. They are durable and last forever without losing the measurement lines.
But beware...they are glass. I'd hate to drop the 4 cup measuring unit on my foot. They are in no way flimsy. The weight of the cup would probably break my toe.

We had had a Pyrex quart glass measuring cup for years until the lines wore off and we couldn't measure with it anymore. This measuring cup was a perfect replacement. Highly recommended as we much prefer Pyrex glass measuring cups to plastic for cooking. They are infinitely more durable and, with the right care, will last for many years.

The most outstanding characteristic is the smooth surface.
They don't leave stains.

They are very easy to clean.

The marks are very easy to read.
After several months' abuses, they are still clearly showing the remarkable and easily readable marks.

They are pretty sturdy and solid.
I had dropped it once on my floor surviving fine.
Fortunately it is on our kitchen wood floor.

Only drawback is the weight.
It's heavier than the plastic ones and metal ones that I have.
