I was not expecting much for the price of this item compared to others, I was however pleasantly surprised with what I received. I am nearly 6’ tall and 300lbs, that being said I had total confidence in this from the second I took it out of the box. I would suggest finding something solid to put over the grates if you plan on using a foam mattress so it doesn’t sink in, thin plywood or even just the box from the platform works great.

I purchased this wonderful bed frame for my 4 year old daughter!

Pros:
1. EXTREMELY easy set up. It didn't even take 5 minutes to set up. It came with an Allan Key, but I'm not quite sure why. It wasn't required at all. It also came with spare parts. I think it took longer to open and remove the frame from the box, than it took to set this up. That says a lot!
2. Very sturdy. I find that metal frames are always more sturdy than wood or any other material, and this is true for this frame. I am 195 pounds and the frame did not budge, squeak or move at all, after I had laid her new mattress on top of this bed frame. Her dad laid on the bed as well, and he's bigger than me, and the results were the same. I know this frame was built to last.

Cons:
1. I suppose if I had to go searching for a con, it would be that the frame isn't the most attractive. It's a basic metal frame. No headboard or fancy adornments. However, I don't care about this at all, and neither does my daughter. I'm just pointing out that this may be a problem for those who like fancier bed frames.

All in all, this frame is fantastic. My fiance and I have a similar bed frame in our room, though ours is a Queen. These sort of foldable bed frames are fantastic for those who want a bed frame that is going to LAST. These bed frames don't require box springs either. The last time my fiance and I had a box spring was 2014. I think box springs are a headache, and these sort of frames eliminate the need for them. Sure, they may not look the greatest, however it goes beyond just looks. It's sturdy. It's made of strong metal. The set up by far is the easiest I have ever seen or experienced in my life, and we've put together a lot of furniture in the past. I highly recommend this bed frame, believe me, you'll love it!

So far so good with this bed frame! It does sit quite a bit higher than most bed frames, but it sits at roughly the same level as a standard box spring mattress would anyway. It doesn't take long to put together, about 10-15 mins at the very least.

What I love about this mattress is that not only is it surprisingly light weight, it's also bi-folding, which was critical because living in a town home, my old box spring never made it up the stairs. Therefore, I was faced with 3 options: one: buy a folding box spring so that it could fit around tight corners that exist in town homes and condos, two: buy a split (2 smaller box springs) box spring, or three: buy a platform bed that folds in half and forget about box springs altogether. I chose the bed frame. The legs can be easily folded in when moving. Only the inner supporting legs will need to be removed if you need to move the bed frame. The mattress can be easily moved while on the frame but it matters little as it does the job. The bonus was the frame shipped and arrived 2 days after ordering with standard free delivery! Very happy =)

Very smartly design so that you can have two separate beds, or the big one. Also, folding design helps move or store it without any issues. And you save monies buy getting Headboard attachment thingy for free with it [would cost you like $20-$30 otherwise].

Arrives already assembled, just unfold, open the 2 outer legs, fasten the support wing nuts and you're good to go. Solid, easy to set-up, collapses down for easy storage and is light weight. A great purchase! This will fit in the back seat of a 4 door sedan without the shipping box.

A good and sturdy but lightweight mattress foundation! Would buy again. Provides a solid foundation for my heavy queen sized coil mattress. Easy to assemble and move around, with no extra tools needed besides the Allen wrench that was included with the bed frame. I am a 71 year old woman, and I was able to carry the 2 pieces I received for a queen sized mattress foundation up and down my stairs, and put it together by myself. Have been using it for about 6 months now....no problems and no squeaking.

Dislike the ends of the legs....they dig into carpet quite sharply and the corner brackets really arent all that helpful for attaching to headboard but does ok.
Otherwise the height is good and was easy to put together. ....the perfect solution to a very old house where box springs won't fit upstairs

This item arrived on time, but after assembling we noticed that the item was not fold able. It actually needed to be de-assembled if you wanted to fold it, required screwing and unscrewing every time you needed to fold it.

We took it for a return and the item apparently was too big in dimension that the Post office would not take and it had to be special delivered and paid for through UPS. Amazon was great, Josie a customer service rep who I spoke to spoke to a number of people in her department and confirmed that payment of shipping the item back would be covered by amazon. Very great full for the service she offered!

The product again does not funciton the way it is described.

My partner and I share this bed and it holds us both. This is quite the feat as we are not small by any means (I am around 265 and he's almost as big as me). The bed doesn't squeak at all and it was incredibly easy to put together. I highly recommend this product.

Wow! So this frame is Absolutely amazing! So easy to set up (did it by myself) and it feels like your sleeping on a cloud! It's so sturdy and the height is perfect it comes in two pieces but you get screws to screw the two pieces in place! This is so worth what I spent and Walmart has the exact same thing for $25 more in the size I wanted.. so happy with this purchase and the sender for making sure the package was well sealed
