We've only just laid it down so we can only give it 4 out of 5 stars. We had some post construction stains in our carpet in an already high traffic area. This runner coordinates with our existing carpet, helps cover the stains, and reduces additional high traffic wear of our upper hallway.
Overall, I believe this was a good purchase. The quality of the runner is good. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the packing. It's folded and it is taking forever to flatten out. I can't understand why they don't ship it rolled up.
The rug itself is great. Good quality. But it is shipped folded into a square. Leaves creases in the rug that, if you’re a lunatic like me, will drive you nuts. You cannot iron the rug either. Annoying. Just ship the thing rolled, problem solved.
definitely does the job and look great in my entryways but the beige color gets dirty looking VERY quickly. If I had darker floors, I would have gone with a darker color. another thing -- the mats say they're NOT washable but I've been putting all of them in my washer on delicate and laying them flat to dry on the patio. it works great and they come out of the washer looking brand new.
I needed something to put my dog’s water bowl on as he tends to make a mess around it, and decided I would look for something big enough for that and to serve as a doormat for our patio door. This mat was a great price for the size and it looks great in real life! It’s thick and the texture is nice! I stuck it down with double sided tape as my dog likes to take all of our smaller mats and rugs into his crate. This helped a ton with the fold lines on the mat. The picture I posted is within an hour of taking the mat out of the package! Maybe having a 70lb dog sit on it for most of that time helped too, but still it looks great
Not very good quality, IMO. The rubber backing was great, but the rug overall was pretty thin and flimsy. I think if the rug would have even begun to lie flat we would have kept it. I ironed it, as per flakey instructions (no heat setting instructions were given, only that I COULD iron it). After 10 dys of tripping over the fold lines I returned it. Clearly was never going to lie flat. If the rug had just been rolled instead of folded, all would have been OK. But JUST OK. Not a high end runner at all.
Beautiful, easy to clean...I actually throw the smaller one in the washing machine and it comes out great! The longer ones are super easy to spot clean.
This carpet is shipped folded. I was unable to get the folds out after following directions and resorting to try warming it up for two days in 90 degree sunshine. Very disappointed as other than that it was just what I expected. Because I went past the 30-day return period I was charged an unadvised restocking fee and shipped... VERY disappointed in the Amazon CSR not conveying and making the return fees clear to me prior authorizing to sending it back. Had I known I would of continued to try and get the wrinkles out!!
This carpet came in the mail, folded in half so even though I ironed as per the instructions, after 2 weeks it did not flatten. Also, when walking on it barefoot it felt tacky and sticky at some places, like a sticky glue. Also, now that I have to return it I have to do so and pay for the postage back to New Jersey in the US!
Find a carpet that you can return for free! Huge mistake ordering this! Big hassle and I lost $$$$
