This is my baby's first bed after the bedside bassinet and she transitioned very well at 5 months old. My only dislike is the extra room between the mattress and slats - I wish the mattress fit snug - but it's not a functional issue, just a personal preference.
The slats are far enough apart that I don't have to worry about her arms or legs getting stuck as she can pull them in and out on her own, which is nice.
Overall, the frame is very well made and easy to assemble.

Excellent quality , arrived much sooner than projected so I was happy about that. While they also send high quality tools with it i strongly suggest a power drill . The only complaint I have is the directions weren’t great, it’s pretty simple so I understand not needing something super in depth but the directions are pretty non existent and it’s easy to get the gate pieces backwards so they should be labeled better. Aside from that- it’s straightforward and relatively easy. I love this bed and highly recommend if you want something big enough for you and your little one but aren’t ready to give them full reign over the room yet ! You won’t regret this purchase for a second:)
Product is exactly as described. We really love it so far and is great for short moms who can't bend over crib rails easily. I'm 5ft exactly and can't bend over a crib to put my little one down and ordered this for a full sized bed to eliminate that issue. I saw that some people complained about gaps; it honestly depends on what brand of mattress you have. We have a serta mattress in here. My husband eliminated the gap with some sanded 2x4s that are married together with a block so that it can snug the mattress in nice and tight for our 7 month old. It can be easily removed when he grows to a bigger size where a 1 inch gap isn't a problem anymore.
The bed is pretty well made. It comes in individual prices though so the assembly took over an hour with a power drill. You’ll need star bits which luckily my husband had. I got it for my 18 month old because she was outgrowing her mini crib and I didn’t want to get a standard crib but thought she needed some containment still. If I had a 6 inch mattress it would be deeper than her crib. With the 10 inch one it’s about the same if not less but that’s ok. It was a little wobbly when I put it together but I messaged the maker and he sent me additional prices. Great costumer service! The only thing is that it is not at all suitable for infants. The gaps at the corners are too much. I feel ok about my toddler and I may even stick something in their to fill the gap. Please do not buy for cosleeping with a baby younger than 18 months. Other than that I really like it.
I like this frame but I don't like the cons, I wouldn't buy it again.
Cons below are listed in order of severity, 1 being the worst issue.

1. The joint where the doors hinges attach is very flimsy and will require us to add extra supports so the wall of the frame stops wiggling back and forth.
2. It creaks a LOT.
3. The latches for the door are cheap and shouldn't spring back on their own, pinched fingers.
4. This one is more of an opinion, I think the bottom half or 1/3 of each side wall should be SOLID wood so that arms/legs and items (cups/pacifiers) don't fall or poke out.

Overall, I think the cost of this bed doesn't not reflect it's quality. It is nice but I paid almost $1,000 for this purchase and for it to be flimsy and creak is not what I'd expect from that price range.
The package arrived with all pieces wrapped separately in saran wrap so they would not be scratched or dented, I really appreciated this. It came with hardware and the screwdrivers needed to assemble it, as well as clearly labeled instructions. The pieces themselves were not labeled, so I went through all the pieces as I unwrapped and put a small sticky note on each with the corresponding number so building would go easier. It went together easily, and took 2 people less than an hour to assemble (using a drill and a rachet screwdriver to make things easier). The bed was exactly what I wanted and I could not have asked for better craftsmanship. Definetly sturdy and will last for several kiddos. Absolutely love this bed.
Nice floor bed for my little daughter, I know that she feels comfortable there, it is the most important thing for me. We also use the bed as a playpen, it is really helpful and I have nothing to worry about. I need just put some toys there, close the gate and my girl plays in it with pleasure. It was a little bit difficult to assemble and took about 2 hours, but I concentrated, used manual instructions (also they have a video tutorial), and made this! All tools were included.
Great quality at a great price. Alder wood is great for these products. We bought a pine bed 3 years ago and it was a real disappointment. This playpen looks reliable and my child loves it, I think it will last a long time.
