(Please excuse the dog on the bed… he’s obsessed with being able to eye level with the window) I was looking for a frame that was high enough for me to put my winter clothes/ shoes under the bed without struggling to fit it. This was the perfect fit. Contrary to reviews, this was so simple to put together. I did it by myself in less than an hour. Instructions were a little difficult to read, but I figured it out (thanks IKEA for giving me practice!). It’s sturdy! My husband and I weigh about 300 lbs total, and it makes no noise. I’m so happy with this purchase. Only down side is I have to purchase longer screws to fit my headboard to the frame, other than that it comes with the holes to attach it. If you’re on the fence, purchase, you wont be disappointed.

Pro: product came as shown. Directions: Small print but manageable. Easy to follow. Unboxing, putting together with no problems, maybe 20-30 mins alone with no defects. With someone or others maybe faster. Basically, it's not IKEA so you won't hate each other.

If ur looking for under bed storage, it's great. I bought the CalKing 18 inch height so be sure to measure what you want stored under the bed.

The metal frame itself is sturdy and hardy once all the nails are tightened. I did the pull, push, rattle and shake test. As well as added some rxtra nuts to the nails (my preference).

The matress can go on top of frame, it is fine. Out od old habit and preference, I used a wood board from before. The picture is with examples of items stored underneath.

Con: look at picture with letter 'P'. This is not a con for me as I was able to make the hole line up to put the screws in. For those who hate having to line up and struggle, it would be a con.

This one I bought had only two uneven 'holes' for screw 'P'. Again, if your not up to jimmy, shake, rattle and roll even one unlined hole, you can reconsider it but two is better than the all.

Other hints: #1. nails. Take a picture of the plastic nail enclosure as the labels rip off with the plastic when opened. If this happens refer to the middle of page one directions. Refer to nail picture.

#2. Bed height. measure you mattress, box spring (if u still want to use it), add the height of the frame desired then total all height. This will be the height of your bed off the ground. Example: inches= 18 (frame) +8 (boxspring) +8 (mattress) = 34 inches tall or 18+8= 26 inches. CM= 45.72 cm + 20.32+20.32= 86.36.

We purchased two of these metal bed frames for our guest room queen mattresses. They were very easy to set up. Both were done within an hour or two. I believe that it’s an affordable option and you can get a headboard whenever you’re ready.

This works great and is very sturdy. My only complaint would be that there are no brackets to install that keeps the mattress in place. If there was then I would give it 5 stars. I had to order those separate
