I bought the black one to help with my canning adventures. Boy am I glad I did!!! It has saved me soooooo much time with tomatoes! Well worth what I paid for it and would buy again for gifts for sure. I really like the 2 speeds. The turbo speed really purées the tomato skins with out any issues. I like how the head comes off for packing away. Cleaning is a breeze when you power it up in soapy water.

If you’re looking for a tool to help you purée and isn’t bulky like a blender this one will do the trick!

I've used this immersion blender twice and have had some real success, although it took a little practice to get it working without spraying everywhere. It has such a powerful suction, that the first time I used it I hadn't anticipated how much it pulls down to the bottom of the container with suction. And then I couldn't easily lift it to move it to another spot to blend without making a bit of a mess. The second time I think I got the hang of it better and pureed a soup to velvety consistency. So it just takes a little practice to use it effectively. I'm very happy with this blender and think it was good value for the money spent.

I mainly use this machine to make lotions/salves. The consistency and texture of the creams is much smoother and eliminates any separation that happens with the different ingredients.

In the culinary world, this blender made guacamole so easily, never doing it another way again!

Love that there are 2 speed settings. Very powerful motor! Simply comes apart for easy clean-up. Works just as great as my mom's expensive Pampered Chef model. Can't beat the price!

We have a cat who needs his cat food blended - even pate with gravy needs liquid added and to be blended. Picking cat food out of the bottom of the blender is disgusting - and gets expensive - as you lose a fair amount each time. This is perfect - it works quickly and efficiently and it's easy to clean. No idea how it would do on human food - but I expect it would be great for that too - Chicken and rice (for the old dog) are also super fast and blend really well. - It's a great tool

I bought this blender at first because it was on sale. We don't use it terribly often, but when we have - for dips, soups, and gravies, it has been great.

The blender is pretty solid, the attachment clicks on firmly and I have never had an issue with feeling like it wasn't completely secure.
It is powerful and gets the job done quickly. As with most, if not all blenders, it is loud, so if you are in an apartment or some place with very thin walls I'd make sure to use this during the day and not at night if you don't want your neighbors to hate you.

Overall a solid purchase and a great choice for anyone who would like an easier way to blend soups or gravies!

It works well you just have to continually press the button it doesn’t stay on with one click. The noise levels were to be expected using it in a shallower metal pan but it was easy to use and blended my soup with ease. For the size it’s a really good product it’s stronger than I expected. I can see myself using this again and again in the future.

Pros: Really effective for blending the milk shakes with the powder and very easy to clean. The bottom detaches and re-attaches for cleaning easily. Despite what I say next, I am not sorry I bought it since it does what I want and very well. I just have to be careful and use the right items to mix it in.

Cons: 1) The top is quite heavy and, for my unit, you really need to press the "on" button quite hard. The first time I used it, I placed the milk and powder in a large 16 oz cup and went to blend it; however, the head is so large it barely got past the surface and the blades were still dry. I hand stirred it, got out a much wider (but much shallower) cup filled it part way with soap and water; inserted the device to clean it. When I hit the button to turn it on, the entire cup was lifted off of the counter and hung in the air while water sloshed out.

Comments: If you are only using it to mix protein shakes, ensure you have a wide cup/pot to mis it in and hold it down with your free hand (be very careful--I did say the top is heavy and it is also a little unwieldy).

I ordered the black since it was cheaper and would not be left out. It arrived fast. It was super easy to put together since it’s just 2 pieces and easily broken down again for storage. It worked beautifully on a very thick cream soup. My only issue is the power button does take some pushing to turn on. I would recommend it. Great value.
