We've had this for about a year. It is set up as a sofa in my office when we don't have guests. I bought the folding base/frame to use when it is opened up as a bed for guests. My only gripe is that I wish there was a bed frame that would work as a base when it's a sofa. The frames are all split in 2, but the sofa bottom is deeper than half of the queen sized bed. It also has the cutouts on the corners, so any platform I get is going to have corners that stick out.

Overall, I am very happy with this product. As a guest bed on the frame, it's great. As a sofa to lounge in the office, it would be better up off of the floor on a platform that I could store guest bedding and other things under.

Makes a better bed than a couch. You have to lean way back to touch the backrest. Width is a little over spec. Thickness is about 8 inches.

If your looking to save space and add comfort than this is a good choice. With the ability to convert to either a bed or couch is so convenient. It’s a sturdy yet comfortable mattress, the material is durable and it’s just light enough to lift so it’s makes for easy to maneuver when you want clean or redecorate.

Solid 3.5 stars, but not quite good enough for a 4.

We got this for a guest bed/home office. We wanted a "couchbed" but unfortunately the pandemic halted their business so we decided to go with this off brand version which is about $100 cheaper. At first I intended to return this one, however the return shipping is such a pain in the butt I decided I'd just keep it.

1. Firstly, the fabric is decent quality - nicer than I expected. The dark gray color is consistant with the photos.
2. However the mattress is NOT 8 inches. It's about 6.5 - and that's being generous. I've had it for about 3 weeks and if it hasn't "expanded" to its full size by now, then it never will.
3. Next, as others mentioned, this is low to the ground. It's a 6.5 mattress pretending to be 8 inches - so that's the height. This isn't a design flaw, this is just a matter of understanding the product you're buying. We plan to get a "couchbed" platform to go under it as soon as we can.
4. As a sofa it's not particularly comfortable, which is too bad. We've had to use lots of bed pillows to make up for the "backless" style.
5. As a mattress it's surprisingly lovely. Way better than a futon! It's firm in a good way. The seam down the middle isn't an issue as long as you put sheets on it like a normal bed. Definitely more comfortable as a bed than as a sofa.

The "coachbed" brand version is definitely a better product - and is a full 8 inches. But since this one is $100 less, I guess it does the job as long as you're not using it as a primary sofa.

Great idea. However way to low from the floor. Material was not as advertised. It was rough not comfortable material. Adults can not use due to the lowness to the floor.

The only problem is when I first got it as soon as anything got on it there was big white stains there after you tried to wash anything off it so I decided to take it off wash it in the washing machine dry it on medium heat and that problem has been solved I love this couch it is very comfortable to sleep on and it is perfect for what I needed it for my autistic son safety I highly recommend this couch

Thankfully this came in really quick however, knowing this turns into a couch to a mattress, I thought it would be softer. It’s as hard as a rock. Better as a couch
