I have already purchased the first model that had a metal weigh station area which I use for weighing pool chemicals. I especially liked the ability to adjust the "tare" to discount for the weight of the container giving you the exact weight of the contents. My wife kept it in the kitchen and used it but when she saw this one on Amazon with the see through weigh station she was on me immediately to order this for her kitchen and new quartz countertop. See the photo showing the design of the countertop through the glass weigh station area. She also likes the large display that allows you to chose from several methods of measurement. I have an older traditional digital food scale that requires 2 of those coin C2032 batteries. What a pain in the you know what it is when the batteries die and I don't just have those weird batteries laying around. Those days are officially over. I've replaced that scale with this one. It comes with a cable and what appears to be a full charge but the best part is, it can also accept AAA batteries (which they also include) so if you should find yourself in need of the scale but it isn't charged, you can just put the batteries in it and keep going. One of the better things I have found on Amazon and as an avid baker, I rely pretty heavily on my food scale. You won't regret this purchase. It's fantastic!

The clear glass looks very nice on our granite kitchen island.
The functions are straight forward and easy to learn.
The blue LED display is accurate and easy to read.
The scale has nice grippy rubber feet to keep the scale in place.
I especially like that it has a buit in rechargeable battery and comes with 2 AAA backup batteries.
It comes with a USB A to USB C cable that works great with our device charging station.
The design, materials and accuracy make this a superb kitchen scale.

I bake and cook a lot and a good kitchen scale is key. This fits the bill for sure. It measures in pounds and ounces, just ounces, kilograms, and grams. The buttons are nice and responsive for on/off, tare, and the units. It comes with a USB cord for recharging (no plug) and seems to hold a battery life pretty well if you remember to turn it off when not in use. The larger scale allows for more space for weighing, like items inside of a bowl for instance. This is a very nice food scale. It comes in handy very often when I’m cooking. It could also be used to weigh multiple other things. It can either be charged up or used with the batteries. And it is supposedly waterproof.

Ok, so I have 4 kitchen scales now and this is by far the nicest of them all. It feels solid and looks great. I tested it with my 50g and 1000g calibration weights and it was spot on. It will read down to 2 grams. It is also larger than my other scales which makes it more versatile. The only minor downside is that it will not charge with a USB-C to USB-C cable, you have to use the provided USB-A to USB-C.

I love the versatility and the sleek look of this scale. It’s easy to clean & waterproof. I love that you can use it with batteries or with a charge! I can just plug it in and charge it up and it works great without any additional batteries. So it does work without inserting the batteries that come with it. That would be more for a backup plan if you didn’t have access to an outlet.

I also love that I can turn it off right away and conserve battery power. I don’t need any other frills like a hold button, so this works great. Has everything I need.
