I was pleasantly surprised by this couch. When I bought it, it had no reviews but I decided to take the chance. I was looking for a nice white leather couch that could double as guest sleeping. It looks much more expensive than it is and the material looks and feels like real leather. For me, this was true white and as described. The couch is on the firmer side, but I like that. At the same time, the support back cushions look and feel plush. I love that with the ottoman against the couch this becomes the size of a full size bed — I had a guest sleep on it comfortably without an added mattress topper. Don’t be alarmed if pieces seem to be missing — they are hidden inside the couch pieces by secret Velcro compartments. I’m currently using this without the legs because I like the minimalist look of being directly on the floor. I may add the legs at some point in the future. I compared lots of similar options on Amazon and off before deciding on this one. Overall, I think this is a great value for the money, and I am so glad I bought this. I love it and have gotten lots of compliments.
Came with significant missing parts (ALL the cushions and one side of couch missing) and was told the parts were unavailable although the couch is still in-stock and purchasable. When purchasing this expect the possibility of receiving half a couch and being offered a 20% discount to keep it as-is.
Love this lounge chair with otterman. Excellent quality, very comfortable, my 82 year old mom loves. Easy for her to get up from too.
It looks very nice, and for someone who likes a firm bed (like me) you could even spend the night on this couch. Mine is white, and it came in excellent, clean condition. The ottoman bench is as long as a small love seat, and I use it as extra seating (up against a wall) or as a coffee table (with a tray on top of it). **A word or two of advice about assembly**: everything IS included, but be sure to search for it wherever the black underneath of the couch-base parts is able to be pulled away. The tools you need are also included. I found that, when joining together the chaise lounge part to the other part of the sofa base (the two-cushion part), the given screws were a bit too short to secure nuts on either side. Perhaps for someone with more strength than me it would have been sufficient. But I went out and bought longer screws to make sure the two parts were securely anchored. Also -- it is VERY important to attach the sofa arms tight to the sofa, especially if you intend to lean on them occasionally while sitting. Thirdly, as others have noted, the velcro attaching the ottoman-bench cushion to the ottoman bench are mismatched (their placement is off and , moreover, they are two fuzzy sides instead of one fuzzy and one "catchy"). I bought two, 3/4" wide velcro strips at the corner hardware store and that has done the trick. The cushion stays on perfectly. Finally, don't put any of the legs on until everything else (like, the whole sofa) is assembled, because you will need to access the underside of the couch repeatedly while assembling the sofa. I was able to put this together myself, but I will say it took some head scratching to figure out what was what and where it went. The instructions were mostly helpful. I have had it a little more than a week and am very happy. I am 5'9" and long-legged. I find the chaise lounge part is the perfect length for me. Any dirt that has appeared (i was moving in, so things got bumped) I have wiped off easily with a damp cloth.
This item is trash they don’t come with all the parts as listed in description. Missing back cushions and offered a measley $71 to keep as is very tacky . I’m now inconvenienced to ship this back
Came to my door!!! And it’s in my living room now !!! It’s fancy looking and doesn’t cost much!!! My friend stayed the night and even slept on it!! MAKES MY LIVING LOOK NICE !!!
I paid less than $450 for this couch and I think that's the correct price. I would not pay more than that.
I would start by saying that it's a comfortable couch, and it's nice that it's modular. Now, I would never put it in the L shape though so I don't consider it very modular. The main seat is a bit short if you want to lounge a bit so if you put it in L shape the rest of the couch isn't great. That's why I bulk it as a large seater. I'm 6'4" though so itight be that.
Now, on the subject of pets. It's NOT pet friendly. My cats punctured it just by walking on it, so we had to cover it (see picture). Once it was covered it was fine. We also added ottoman that are very attractive to scratch to the end (and also makes it very nice to lay down as a tall person.
As I said it's comfortable, however, due to the framework some spots are softer than others so keep that in mind if you're thinking of sleeping on it. You'll feel the frame depending on where you are laying down. It's doable though.
I out it together in about 40minutes I think. As people have said cuchions and parts are hidden under it. You have to rip a bit of that undercover to screw some parts in too but it doesn't damage anything. It's also way lighter than a regular couch.
It is kind of ok. They could have gone the extra mile on workmanship and this would have been a good sofa. As you can see from the pictures the cushions have the Velcro on different locations making the back cushions look really weird or not stay in position. Next the ottoman has Velcro to hold on the cushion but the Velcro on both the cushion and the base are the same kind of Velcro so they don't stick together. Big bummer.
