Novogratz Tallulah Memory Foam Futon, Blue Velvet

We ordered two Futon in two different colors (gray and green). Initially, we loved this Futon. However, recently my one-year old boy had picked up loose staples in two separate occasions from the corners in both of the Futons and put the staple into his mouth. We rushed to pull the staples out of his mouth because we noticed he was chewing something. Such a scary experience. These Futons are a choking hazard. Manufacturers need to change their design and fix the problem!

Extremely disappointed- although I like the general design of the sofa, I bought the navy blue color and it came in a lighter sky blue which messed up with the rest of the living room area. Color and quality are not well reflected in the pictures. Fabric is soft but it's a bit loose so it gets wrinkly. Also i was attracted by the memory foam seating and both the back and the seating areas feel stiff. The legs of the sofa are nice and they have a small padding underneath. I wish i could return this sofa but once assembled it is impossible, definitely feel deceived.
Easy to assemble, absolutely stunning sofa. Fabric is so soft and the frame is super sturdy. Memory foam is firm but supportive. Best futon I have ever seen or felt. Really good quality piece.
I ordered this wanting an affordable, comfy but stylish couch that could double as a bed for extra guests or for when I want to get cozy in the living room. It is a nice soft velvety material and I actually really like the color (I ordered the blue). I would describe the actual color as a deep aqua. I put it together by myself in under 30 minutes! The legs are nice and study and the 2 back sections of the couch recline to a 45° angle and then all the way down. When you put it all the way down to use as a bed you can unzip the back of each side to find a fold out leg for extra support.

This is a great couch for the money, my only issue with it is that it's not very squishy or comfortable to sit on if you're looking for that deep comfy couch that you can melt into. I would not call it "memory foam" as the description does because it's that firm bouncy type of foam that doesn't mold around your body like real memory foam does. From the look of it it's pretty obvious that it's not going to be the most comfortable couch but it's not bad. It is definitely not memory foam though. I might eventually get a big comfy sectional and put this sofa in the office as a 3rd "guest bed."

Overall, a great buy, could be less firm but other than that I love it!
We've had this couch now for about five months now. The comfort has steadily been decreasing and the cushions are noticeably flattening out. But, the price was right at the time and we were desperate for a couch. I do like the way it looks and it was easy to put together. The blue color is really nice but be warned, it will attract pet hair like nobody's business.
Love this couch. The colors more a medium green than dark, but it still went well in out room. Opted for the memory foam, and added some big pillows on the end for max relax!
We bought the navy and it’s beautiful! The fabric is beyond soft, it took 2 people 20mins to put together and it’s very sturdy. ( I am not a small person by any means ( 290). The sofa is perfect. The color will always differ with velvet based on the direction the fabric is rubbed and lighting.
This is a very nice daybed. It is very comfortable. A 6" matress fits perfect on the bottom trundle, and we have a 10" on the top. With the trundle away you can't even tell it is there. Works great in my son's room. He has a second bed for sleepovers, and doesn't have to have bunk beds
