I bought and the pillow pad tag was already ripping off. I sent it back and bought the same one at Walmart in the “as seen on tv” section

Why you would “compress” this thing for shipping is beyond me. It says you need to let it expand for a few minutes.. this has been several hours now. Useless. I should have bought one that I saw in the store instead, I will be sending this back.

I only gave this item 4 stars because I'm not sure why they need to tightly vacuum-compress it and squish it into a small box. It did not expand normally on its own, even after sitting for hours. However I then followed the enclosed suggestions for fluffing it, by putting it in the dryer for 10 minutes on low heat with a damp washcloth. (I threw in a dry bath towel too, for extra fluffing.) The stand came out fully decompressed, expanded full-sized, and ready to use. I like it for reading on my Kindle and it has different angles that hold my reader just right, whether sitting on the couch, lying in bed, or reading to the table.
