This movie's trailer is admittedly better than the movie itself. That being said, the movie was ridiculous, poorly acted, and unfollowable plot-wise, and I loved just about every moment of it. Never has my jaw hit the floor so many times trying to figure out wtf is actually going on in each scene. I give the movie so many points for being a completely new idea for a depleted horror genre, and even more points for being perfectly comedic and anxiety inducing simultaneously. Complete nonsense - give it a try!

Really enjoyed this film. It had some good gore effects and somehow makes the idea of a killer recliner chair (yeah the title's Killer Sofa, maybe that's a New Zealand thing, but most likely it just sounds better than "Killer Recliner!") plausible. There's a lot of humor mixed in with the horror and it's paced well so it doesn't drag in the middle like some films of the genre. So hop in your favorite recliner and enjoy the flick!

I was very bored at work and decided to watch a movie. This was actually under the comedy section and I can see why. I knew what I was probably getting into by the name alone and the trailer didnt help either. I was pleasantly surprised at how everything came together at the end. I was just taken aback at how they really made a recliner walk and lift up a body. That was just hilarious. The main character Francesca was so ridiculously over dramatic especially at the gasoline scene but I held on till the end. I knew something was gonna be up with the guy police but I really didn't see the end coming. It was a good time killer.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS! The idea is interesting, but that's all. No plot, horrible characters. I could only get through half before I turned it off. And I watched ALL of Birdemic, so you know I have a good tolerance for crap movies.

This movie is nuttier than a fruitcake, but is actually a lot of fun. I'd actually give it three and a half stars, because I would have preferred more gore. Nevertheless, if you're into offbeat horror flicks with dry humor, you could certainly do worse. Give it a shot!
