For a $300 sofa that's delivered right to your door in a couple of boxes (and arrived in two days for me), it's not bad. Cushions are firm but that doesn't bother me. Has a slight chemical smell. I'm 6'6" so I knew going in that it wouldn't be an ideal couch for a tall person, but I fit well, even on the chaise (my feet hang off but that's to be expected). Setup took me about 10-15 minutes.

Sofa is just a bit shallow so it's fine for one person, but spooning with your lover may prove difficult.

The only real con that I can see is that you can see through the sofa in a couple of spots. I'm adding throw pillows so not a big deal.

I would recommend it, as long as you're a reasonable adult who knows that this won't be as comfortable as a $1,500 sofa from a high-end store. Keep your expectations in check and you should be happy with this sofa.

UPDATE: About a week and a half in, I love the sofa and I'm glad I purchased it. The chemical smell I mentioned above went away in less than 24 hours. As a bonus, if you have pets that sit on this, you can just rub your hand against the fabric and the fur comes right up. Probably more effective than a lint roller. I will reiterate that the only con is that you can see through the sofa in a couple of spots, but that's an easy fix and shouldn't be a dealbreaker. As of 3/18/19 it looks like this is only available from third party sellers at TWICE the cost I paid less than 2 weeks ago. I would not recommend paying $600 for this. Better options out there. If price comes back to $350 or less, go for it.

I live in a small apartment, and I wanted an affordable couch with chaise that could fit through the 32" doorway to the living room. This couch appeared to fit the bill and with only a few left in stock, I decided to go for it. The seller, FirstSelection Direct, shipped the couch via FedEx in 2 large boxes. It only took a week to ship across the country, and the boxes arrived in great condition. The seat and back cushions took a couple of hours to fully expand (all except for the long chaise cushion came vacuum-sealed), but the couch took less than 30 minutes to put together by myself. No tools needed!

I was nervous buying a couch online without having tested it, but this couch has really exceeded my expectations. Frame is sturdy and the seat cushions are firm but quite comfortable. As advertised in the product description, I trust that they will get even better with use. The fabric is great for a household with pets: thick, doesn't look like it will snag easily or pill, easy to clean. Overall, I would highly recommend!

In the gun control debate one of the measures that's emerged as a way to get guns off the street is a gun buyback program. The concept is that to get guns off the street the government will buy your guns from you. One of the counter-arguments for this surfaced in the form of an image of a piece of wood with a metal pipe going through it. There was an area for gunpowder and a firing mechanism, so this was technically counted as a gun and bought back by the government, however everyone knows this was not a dangerous weapon nor the intent of the program. This couch is that pipe/wood gun.

Technically and legally speaking, yes this is probably categorized as a couch. It has fabric and when constructured does resemble the form of a couch or sofa-like object. However, functionally it is not a couch. I don't even know where to begin describing what's wrong with it - just picture what you want in a couch and then picture not having those things. It's extremely uncomfortable and feels like it's going to break in 10 different places.

If you are thinking of taking a chance since it's $300 and Amazon's return policy is pretty good....that's another negative here as the cushions are essentially vacuum sealed and impossible to put back in the original packaging which is the only thing the seller accepts as returns. Seems like a crazy coincidence that really benefits the seller.

I regret everyday that I was stupid enough to buy this couch and every time I stare at the poorly re-packaged boxes in my living room (which I'm in the process of trying to return) I'm struck by a feeling of primitive remorse reminding me of my own faults, stupidity and even mortality.

I've never had a new couch before, always 2nd hand, so I did a lot of research before buying a couch on Amazon and I am so incredibly surprised and pleased with the quality of this couch! I live in a single wide trailer and its very much like a tiny house, so it could only be a certain size. And with 2 children it has to also hold up to rambunctious play. It has exceeded my expectations in both categories! All the cushion covers can be removed and washed and the fact that you can customize it to your preference is also a plus. It was easy to assemble, especially with a 3 and a half y/o running around. Its very light once assembled, and the shipping was fast! It really is the perfect couch for our family.

We needed a small couch for our 2nd living space and this one is pretty good for the price. Was missing a bracket it needed to secure the couch together when it came, but we just went out and bought a bracket and it works great. Would give the quality a B+.
