This works wonderful in my living room with the cat and dog toys ending up underneath my furniture. The first few times the cats toys went under the chair and came back out at him, he looked confused and put his paw under the chair and touched the clear plastic. I only had bought enough the first time to do my living room chair, bought more and going to put them around the love seat and couch on my next day off. These are wonderful and I wish I had known about them years ago (would've saved me fishing toys out from under the furniture with my pets and when my kids were still living at home).

We used these a little different than the manufacturer suggested, but they worked beautifully.
We have two dogs that are always losing their balls under the sofa, so these were a perfect idea.
One problem... We have carpet, so the sticky bottom would not stick to the floor. So my crafty husband suggested another way. Now, keep in mind that we did NOT follow the rules, and we understood that we could have damaged our furniture, but we have old couches that I would not have been heartbroken if they were damaged. We had no intention of returning these items after our decision was made.
We flipped the sofa over, and used a drill with self tapping screws and screwed the plastic straight into the underside of the wood frame. We flipped the plastic upside-down and used the part that is supposed to stick to the floor to drill the holes- so essentially, once the sofa was right side up, the plastic hangs down and skims the top of the carpet.
Worked beautifully. We had to use a box cutter to trim a few pieces shorter to make sure the plastic went all the way around the sofa, but no more lost balls!
Remember, we went rogue, and the manufacturer would not have been responsible if we messed it all up, but we got lucky! Maybe this review will help someone else with carpet.

I have a set of these blockers for the fridge and stove, and came back to buy a set for some furniture. The taller set works perfectly for a buffet that kept trapping our cats' favorites plastic toys (I counted 34 of them under it last time I cleaned it out). The strips adhere easily and effectively, and I've been able to pull them up and move them a couple of times with out damage to the floor or to the adhesion.

I do wish the finish were matte instead of shiny, though, since these basically look like we've placed a mirror under the edge of the furniture. It's fine under the fridge, where it's not noticeable in our house, but in our living room, it glares at you from across the room. We might take them up and spray paint them with matte black or something. If that doesn't work, I'll start shopping for replacement options for that furniture. Until then, I'm glad not to be crawling on the floor to fish out toys every morning.

In theory this is a wonderful idea! However unable to get them to stay in place longer than a few days. As soon as a crumb got under then, they no longer wanted to stick.

This item has saved us time and energy looking for toys and moving our couch to get to them! It was easy to use, easy to move if needed, and absolutely life changing (we have tile floors where toys like bones slide easily)! LOVE this!

At first I thought these were great. I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. After a few weeks of wheeled toys running into them, they started tilting backwards, but were still very stuck to the floor. So stuff, dirt, cheerios, and toys still got behind them. Then they just became a barrier to cleaning, and it was difficult to move the couch around them. I just ripped them off and threw them out this week. Did not work for my family.
