I have a sectional couch that sits directly on tile in my office and unfortunately the couch does not have a means to connect the different sections together. Because of this every-time someone sits on the couch the sections slide apart from each other rather annoyingly. I decided to try these gorillapads as a last ditch effort to prevent the sliding before doing something drastic like nailing the couch sections together. I had no idea just how well the gorillpads would work. After installing the rubber pads the couch sections have not moved an inch. No matter how forceful I am in sitting down on the couch they stay put as if they’re glued to the floor. This was pretty surprising mainly because the pads themselves don’t seem to be made of anything special outside of the typical rubber flooring tiles you see in gyms. Nevertheless they work and I’m happy I made the purchase.
They work great however I ended up having to use gorilla glue to glue the pad to the leg to keep it on. The glue that comes on it does not hold in place.
I got this after replacing my carpet with LVP. My dogs were moving the couch every time they jumped on it. These did the trick. It’s staying put.
My sectional sofa kept sliding around whenever you'd stand up or sit down. It caused the cleat that attached the pieces together to come loose and strip the screws out of the wood. I fixed that issue and used these pads to give some slip protection.
The couch now is very difficult to move without a LOT of effort even on the hard laminate flooring.
Minus one star because you have to attach the adhesive yourself. Which for some uses could be a benefit but was annoying for my application.
We have hard surface floors and our couch would not stay put. These are perfect. They grip to prevent sliding with no damage to the furniture or floors. We purchased for the couch but have also used them for the kitchen table as well. Well worth the money because you get the quality!!
I love the pads but wish they came in 3 inch size. My dog takes flying leaps onto the couch that I keep pulled out from the wall about 10 inches because of the floor register. The grips so far have prevented the couch from sliding back.
My sofa would always move on my laminate floors from putting the recliners down. Since putting the grips under the feet of the sofa it hasn't budged even a smidge. It's been several months. Wish I had done this years ago!
These pads were exactly what I needed to keep my couch and chair from flying across the vinyl flooring in my living room when someone sat down!

Have under the feet of our couch in the den, which sits on laminate. It doesn't move at all.
Had to trim them to fit perfectly but that is to be expected.
You buy pads so your wood floor doesn't get scratched. These do the job you would expect, are good quality, I've been using them for a while and they fulfill their purpose perfectly.
