I liked that all the pieces fit together perfect, well built and sturdy... Nice looking for the money , wood finish looks higher end and the metal frame makes for confidence that you will not fall through. The shipment came early and I was excited seeing I was in the middle of the move and was sleeping on a air mattress. When I opened the box it was packed very well and looked like alot of parts, I dreaded the assembly. I was frustrated after seeing I was missing 5 parts , however after a quick response from the seller I learned that the missing parts were slipped in with other parts as a bundle. ( my mistake) So when you order and your ready to assemble please look at every single item for the letter code the part item it will be in there.
This bed frame is beautiful. I've had it for over a year now and it is very sturdy. It doesn't shake or creak at all that I have noticed. The slats on the bottom are small, rectangular rods with a lot of space between them and without a box spring it is difficult to put a mattress over them (especially if you have a memory foam or other alternative mattress). However, two thin plywood sheets worked great underneath to support the mattress. It is a beautiful look and for a great price!
The bed started coming apart (cross slats came loose) after about 6 months. The main center beam broke off of the t-post right after the warranty period. Not worth the money.
Love it sturdy great buy
So glad I trusted the positive reviews and ignored the negative reviews, which are mostly subjective complaints (the bed not being high enough: your mistake, not the seller’s; the directions being written by someone with dementia: false and, frankly, outright rude; or the slats being soft Chinese metal and therefore, not sturdy: bizarre and, again, frankly rude). But alas — I’ll review the product and not the reviews.
I bought this bed for my bedroom, and chose the queen size. I appreciated the metal and wood look, since I was attempting an industrial look in my room. I needed a platform bed for my hybrid mattress, and I didn’t want anything that would squeak when I move.
After a LOT of research, I settled on this bed. For mid-$100’s, seemed a good price. It shipped immediately, and arrived one week sooner than expected. Assembly took about one hour, and I completed it myself alone. All tools needed are included. The directions did have 5 pages, but only 9 steps. Very straightforward and easy to follow. I had one piece upside down but I noticed that at the very end and fixed it. The metal platform slats have rubber around the insert holes, and then a rubber plug to keep the slats from banging when you shift on the bed. A very nice touch.
The bed doesn’t squeak and fits my queen mattress perfectly. Has about a foot of clearance underneath so I’m able to still use that for storage. Easy to move assembled and will be easy to disassemble when moving. And…it looks great. Love the simple, elegant vibe this gives off. Would buy again.
Being handicapped, it took about four hours for my housekeeper and me to assemble the bed.It feels sturdy and fits well over my Tempurpedic full size base.
Bed is nice & sturdy. Looks sleek & minimalistic.
Took a couple of hours to set up but once up I loved it. It definitely sits high enough where you don’t need a box spring and also has the support beans going across the bottom. I went with the box spring anyway and now my bed is higher up then I’m used to put the height is growing on me. I wish the headboard was slightly higher up just because if you do go with a box spring your pillows will cover it but definitely worth the money and is sturdy.
