The delivered box was very lightweight which is good for me. Hollow metal tubes for shelf edges and verticals. Joints are plastic with connection holes. Shelves are fancy paper with questionable strength/durability - stronger plastic or similar would give more confidence. I purchased thin plastic desk protectors and cut them as shelves to layer on top as reenforcement and waterproofing for wet shoes etc.
Assembly is slow at first but improves. I recommend all shelves then stack them. There’s a proper order to the shelf else you tear it: assemble it like a C (3 edges) and then slide on the shelf paper. The shelf should only use the little holes in the connector, other holes used when stacking.
I found the shelf width/depth dimensions accurate, which was my worry. Unfortunately, the gym locker I’m trying to put it in is smaller than advertised, FML.
Now I’m wishing the metal tubes were plastic. Unsure if I can easily cut these with a proper vice and saw. Maybe a home depot gremlin can save me. If not, another purchase may be cheaper than cutting myself.
Honestly, this shoe rack is a great solution when you're short on space, storage or both. Set-up was a breeze. The instructions, which are basically pictures, weren't too too bad. My tip to others would be to check your inventory by counting all of the pieces to make sure the totals match those already given in the parts list. There are a LOT of pieces but once you get a into a little groove it's kind of fun and it goes together pretty fast.
Con: Now my hubby can see how many pairs of shoes I have. (and that's not even all of them! Shh, our little secret.)
First off, ordered it at 6AM it arrived around 4PM THE SAME DAY! Putting it together wasn’t much of a deal, took maybe 45 minutes I also kept stopping bc I was doing other things, it fits perfectly in the space in my closet and as you can see before I had shoes everywhere I love how they’re all organized now! At first I wasn’t sure if it was going to be sturdy but I was happily surprised that it was! All in all for $20 bucks I say money well spent! It holds all my shoes!
Perfect for the space in my closet. I uploaded a before picture for you to see what my shoes looked like in my closet before the shelves. I really like this. I hope you do too.
I honestly love!!! This shoe rack I ordered one then was like omg my husband needs one for his shoes too and I ordered another one and it fits so many shoes and sandals/heels.. order it ! And it was easy to build :)
Perfect size to fit in a smaller closet. Durable but shelving is not meant to heavy items. Great for the price.
Easy to assemble and sturdy.
Dislike the hour and a half assembly time it took me. Happy with the fininshe product. Like the size especially the width.

I’m pretty happy with this so far. The posts are made of metal and the plastic connecting pieces are sturdy, so I would say the quality of the frame is very good. The weak point may be the quality of the shelves, they seem like they could become damaged if you are not careful. But if you are just using it for shoes you should be fine. This is not suitable for boots because of the lightweight shelves and because the spacing between shelves is too low for boots. Assembly is simple and requires no tools but takes a bit of time.

Used it for other things such as storing clothes, tech, and even as stand for a projector. Its better than alot of the trash they sell out there. You have to assemble it but its easy to build.
