Was super worried about not having a box spring but it’s better without. My husband and I are both overweight with a combined weight of about 575. Our mattress is approximately 300. Then add in a 70 pound child occasionally, 55 pound dog, and a 15 pound cat. Lol. I was seriously worried about the weight capacity when looking at frames. We have a amazing one from my grandparents but it’s to big for our apartment. This looks great and I was able to assemble on my own while my husband was at work. Took maybe two hours. Adds some firmness which isn’t a bad thing cause I have major back problems. The height is great. Probably going to be ordering another one for my daughters room.

Some of the pre-drilled holes weren’t properly drilled and it was stripping screws. But it seems rather sturdy for a metal bed frame.

The supporting members of the bed feels on your back if the mattress thickness is less. I had a 5 inch memory gel foam mattress. Flat members would have been better.
