I recently purchased the Zinus 14-Inch Metal Bedframe for my queen-sized mattress, and overall, I am quite satisfied with its performance. While it does have a minor flaw, there are several features that make this bedframe a worthwhile investment.
Let's start with the downside: the bedframe's width. Unfortunately, it is a little too wide for a standard queen-sized mattress. This can be a bit frustrating, as it may result in the mattress not fitting snugly within the frame, leading to a slight overhang. However, this issue can be easily mitigated by placing the bed against a wall or using a bed skirt to hide the discrepancy. Despite this flaw, I found that it didn't significantly affect the overall functionality of the bedframe.
One of the standout features of the Zinus 14-Inch Metal Bedframe is its sturdiness. Once properly assembled, it provides excellent support for the mattress and ensures a stable sleeping surface. The frame feels robust and capable of handling the weight of the mattress and occupants without any noticeable creaking or wobbling. This sturdiness instills a sense of confidence, knowing that the bedframe will reliably hold up over time.
Assembly is where this bedframe truly shines. The process is incredibly quick and straightforward, even for those who are not particularly handy. Zinus has included a tool specifically designed to assist in tightening screws and connectors, which speeds up the assembly process and ensures a secure fit. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to put the bedframe together, and it saved me a significant amount of time and frustration compared to other bedframes I've encountered in the past.
Additionally, the 14-inch height of the bedframe allows for ample under-bed storage space. This is particularly beneficial for those living in smaller spaces or looking to maximize storage options. The extra clearance provided by the Zinus bedframe enables you to store various items neatly out of sight, helping to declutter your living space.
In conclusion, despite its slightly wider dimensions for a queen-sized mattress, the Zinus 14-Inch Metal Bedframe remains an excellent choice. Its exceptional sturdiness and straightforward assembly process outweigh the minor flaw, making it a reliable and durable option for anyone in need of a solid bedframe. With the added benefit of ample under-bed storage space, this bedframe offers great value for the price.
Sturdy
No noises (squeaking, etc)
Not very tall so not much storage space underneath
Super easy to assemble- came with the Allen wrench and hardware
We used a memory foam mattress- great support
Best part it folds up nice and thin with out disassembling any part of it!
The price point was better than any box store around. I would recommend this bed frame. (Side note this was being used for someone 5’8” maybe 110lbs)
Opened the box and thought OMG, this is gonna be a pain to put together, and take forever. The instructions has a QR code to a YouTube video on how to put it together. Definitely watch it! I had it put together in less than an hour. It comes with an Allen wrench as well as a ratcheting Allen wrench. You don't need any other tools. It is well made. All the holes lined up. I have mine in a carpeted room, but if you have flooring that is not, maybe get something for the feet so it doesn't slide around and to protect your floor. Plenty of space underneath for storage. If you don't like the look of metal, then get the fabric covers made for them. I slept on mine last night, with my new mattress, and it felt sturdy and I was comfortable. The ends of it has holes so it can be attached to a headboard, if desired. A few of the rods have adhesive on them to keep your mattress from sliding.
Not too heavy and took me about 30 minutes to out together. They include a little ratcheting wrench for all the bolts, so that is nice. Went together pretty easy, however, there are 2 of the bolts that need to be longer. The two that go into the middle post that secure the two legs that collapse are two short so those 2 legs are not secure. All of the bolts in the package are the same size. I'm going to have to go to the hardware store and hope I can find two bolts that will work to secure these legs. Otherwise it's pretty decent bed frame. It will fold in half once assembled but it's one big piece at least for the queen frame. It folds to roughly half the length but the same width as a queen frame.
Hard to find these narrow beds. This one very easy to put together, very sturdy, not noisy when you move around on it. Tall enough for storage under. Tall enough for senior to get up from easily.
Very sturdy and easy to assemble. We love it for our king sized bed. Fair price too
I own two different kinds of these frames. What I love about this one is it is more sturdy. The slates are sturdy and there are plastic caps on the ends of the slates where the metal would rub together which stops the squeaks. My other one has the wire along the bottom and fold out legs. The fold out leg one squeaks when you toss or turn. This one is fantastic. Well made and easy to put together. Buy it you won't regret it. Fits a memory foam mattress nicely.
Bought about 18 months ago and still works well! Moved twice in that time and the bed frame is easy to build and take apart. Lots of storage under bed with the extra height! Love the frame!

Very sturdy, i like the fack tgat there is the sticky banner so your mattress dies not move.
I needed it for only 1 week because i was expecting guests. Easilly asemble, easily disassemble.Height is good.
If you are looking a bed for short term only, i would recommend this one. The only thing is you will need space to store you mattress but as far as the bed, the box is a decent size which can easily be stored.
