I did a lot of research when I wanted new pots and pans and when I decided on ceramic I read up a lot on how to take care of them. I bought this set in August 2019 and this is what happens to them now (January 2020). This has been going on now for several months. I contacted the company a couple months after purchasing to see what I could do or maybe I got a bad batch and they told me I was cooking at too high of a heat. I make sure every time I use them I cook on low-low med heat, I did my research and I wanted these to last! I also have some ceramic chipping off on the pots. I bought silicon utensils to use on them since the ones that came with them were melting onto the pots and pans. This is very frustrating, and a waste of my money, take my advice and don't waste yours.
As the Queen of Pastel Pink these port are certified fresh OKAY! When I moved into a new house I KNEW I had to have pink pots so I was elated to find such a nice set at a reasonable price. The color and my arachnophobia-driven fear of lower cabinetry made me keep them in display! Such great little pots with an amazing nonstick finish! Cleaning them was a breeze! I would recommend for any pink lover!!!
I read the review about these pots and I was extremely skeptical! However when I used them and I use them EVERY DAY they’re the best damn pots I’ve ever had. So easy to use. Easy to clean. Just easy !!!!
Beautiful durable potset only downfall is...
The deep dish skillet frier is not very big and the quart pot is tiny in deep/width/height so Definitely can't cook boiled chicken etc great for rice, liquids, sauces, chili small to feed 4 ppl! They're solid, so far already bbq pulled pork using my deep dish skillet, and pot and it held up well cooking only medium to low heat allowed for this set, haven't PLACED in my electric oven, yet... to see if they hold 100% but only issue is can't be above 350° for these pots... they're not cast iron, they're white percale type within the pots and pans, they came with 6pc durable hard plastic w pink handles utility spoons/spatulas COMPLETE set for EVERYTHING! Now if you plan on using for heavy cooking, I wouldn't recommend these, but if, you're looking for extra pots for plenty of cooking choices Definitely recommend these 100%! Make sure you allow complete cool before hand washing, they're not recommended for dishwashers, as no pots aren't safe to place in dishwashers it destroys them no matter what type of pot set u have!! But overall cute, and sturdy, flat bottom... great for gas stove, electric stove, or glass tops flat only! REMEMBER LOW OR MEDIUM HEAT ONLY THEY ARE NOT FOR HIGH HEAT IT WILL DESTROY YOUR POTS!
Very cute, decent non-toxic, non-stick pans for the price but cheaply made, thin metal. Pros and cons. Be careful. The edges are sharp - as if the metal was just cut & not buffed before turned into a pan. My friend cut her finger hand-washing them.
Description says dishwasher safe, but label warns that the dishwasher removes the non-stick! Must be hand-washed immediately after each use or the bottom stays brown, and gets darker with each use.
The non-stick surface scratches very easily. Plus side- They are really easy to clean, can even use a paper towel! They do distrubute heat evenly, and the pan heats quickly. Fried eggs really do slip right out of the pan! Great for minor cooking, like eggs, grilled cheese, steamed veggies, etc. Thin metal makes them light weight! Color is a true, soft pink. (That makes it totally worth it!)
Bottomline: If non-toxic is important to you & really want pink pots and pans (I did!) & if you don't mind carefully hand-washing, (sharp "lip") & don't expect them to last forever, these are terrific for the price. Hard to find a true non-toxic, non-stick set for under $100. But if you're looking for a set that will last for several years, and can be used for heavy duty cooking, then buck up the extra $50 and get a Greenpan set.
