we like it. not sure how long this will last because of the price (you get what you pay for) but hopefully it lasts for atleast next summer. we like the space saving option, more room for my my 1 year old and 2 year old to run around..
Very happy with delivery and quality. Perfect size for this particular outdoor deck. I did change out the cushions for the main chairs with backs to compliment other outdoor patio furniture color schemes. The eggshell colored cushions are ok but to thin for comfort and my taste. Did use them for the ottoman/stool pieces. The glass top gets very hot in the sun. I keep it covered with a rubber mat (also protects from unexpected hail that Colorado gets in the summer) to keep cool and protect till use. Then open umbrella to cover when in use because of how hot to the touch it gets. Definitely would not suggest anyone >250 lbs sit in the wicker chairs- not because they aren’t sturdy - the are probably up to 275 or 300. However, The chairs with arm pieces would be a bit snug for someone >230 lbs. Had a guest approx 220 and it was ok..just a tid bit snug...no complaints but I could see a person getting stuck or seat still attached if they stood up.
I was searching for a dining set that was not overwhelming. I already have two other sets of furniture in my backyard and I didn't want the dining set to become too much. This is perfect. I have room for everyone to eat around the grill. I can use the side chairs as extra end tables.
Also living in Arizona it gets hot and dusty. I wanted to protect the table and glass. So I bought from Amazon the above cover from ULTCOVER patio. It's 44 x 44 x 24 and covers my dining set perfectly. The cover came the same day of ordering.
I highly recommend BOTH the dining set and cover !
Great set. We will see how long it lasts for and I will update my review if it falls a part within a few months. Took a bit to put together but it feels sturdy. We also purchased a cover but I love how everything fits in to one another.
Love, love, love this versitle set.
Only complaint is the dumb stickers all over unit. My son weighs 300 lbs and is 6' 3". Having no issues. One review said it looks like a child set. But him fitting in it and being comfortable in it, kind of dedlates that review. Very sturdy compact unit. Get lots of compliments.
This patio furniture set looks great. The pieces are sturdy yet light enough to move around. Assembly is very straightforward, although the nine pieces do take some time to assemble (I’d say it took me 10 minutes or so per piece on average—very reasonable but does add up to 1.5-2 hours). The price is very reasonable.
The table is perfect size for 4 people having dinner, a bit cramped for 6 and quite cramped for 8.
The one frustrating thing is that the chair legs will tear up your deck if you don’t put rubber end caps on them. I bought a set of 24 rubber end caps from Amazon (3/4 inch) for like $15, and it solved the problem. But the manufacturer could have easily taken care of that on their end.
Still, overall a good set at a good price.
The quality of the product is actually much better than I anticipated. It's really a great deal for the price. The packaging is fantastic, the labeling of the parts... My only slight is the instruction manuals print is incredibly faded and difficult to read for us over 40. I found taking liberties with the order of the steps in the chair assembly was far easier than the instructions... It's a 2hr knuckle buster assembler w a tiny Alan wrench but the end product is surprisingly more elegant with solid build quality than what I thought for the price. Matter of fact the only thing was having a super crappy instruction manual mixed in w a truly great product.
