I was a bit wary of buying a sofa online, given that I was looking for that right balance of quality to affordability.
I'm so glad I went with this one! It was an absolute breeze to put together and the quality really surprised me for the price.
Let's be honest: at this price point, you know you're not buying something you will be passing on to your future children. But for the money, this thing looks great.
A few points:
* I bought the grey color. The actual color has a bit of a blueish-green tint to it. I actually like it more than the grey I was expecting to get!
* I'm a big guy and I was worried about the sturdiness but this thing is solid as a rock. It's also a really good size so you can stretch out on it.
* The cushions are very thin memory foam. Not terribly comfortable but also not too uncomfortable. Just know in advance that you likely won't be using this as a guest bed.
All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase.
This sofa is great for a small multi-purpose room. I purchased this for my home office which sometimes needs to be a guest room. Love the color, it’s firm but comfortable. Was easy to assemble with clear instructions! Great buy for the price!
I purchased this couch as a temporary solution in my new apartment. I want to get a sectional or something that reclines eventually.
I have gotten SO many compliments on this couch and many people want to purchase it from me when I get my new couch.
Pros
Soft fabric
Pretty
Sturdy
Packaging was incredible
Arms of couch come in the back of the couch. Unzip and there they are!
Reclining the back is easy
Not sure if it is by design or meant to be used this way, but you can adjust the back angle I know the purpose is for it to fold into a bed, but still pretty neat to be able to recline a little.
Cons
Like other reviews said, it is very firm.
The cushions are a little squished from being in the box. Hoping they will expand over time.
Assembly is a bear by yourself.
116lbs - which complicates the assembly if you are alone
Overall, I would recommend! Product quality is very nice.
I've just grown so tired of shopping for a couch. Overpriced, underbuilt and difficult to move. I took a chance on this little couch and I am glad that I did.
It showed up in a box. You'll need two people, or a good furniture dolly. It's cleverly packed and not very difficult to unfold and assemble, but again with the two people idea.
It's pretty firm so you'll need pillows and a throw blanket or something, but I'm 6'1" and I can TOTALLY lay down and nap on this thing without a problem. It's pretty long for a little couch.
If you're considering it, I would totally recommend it. I got the blue one.
So far so good. It's durable, looks and feels nice. A good size. Cushions are a little hard but I don't mind that so much. Add a couple throw pillows if you like a softer seat and voila. Easy to switch between couch and futon mode. I have dogs and despite me and my wife's vest efforts we still find them sprawled out on the thing from time to time. Thankfully fur and paw prints are super easy to clean off this thing.
Was also fairly easy to put together. Im overall very satisfied
The first thing I noticed is that it's a really nice looking futon and looks more like a couch than a futon, which is why we purchased it in the first place. I will say thought that the gray color in person is NOT as dark as advertised. My husband spent 1-2 hours to build this and was able to do it on his own. When we sat on it, we noticed it was very sturdy and first. However, over the past couple weeks, it has softened a bit the more we've sat on it.
The futon folds out to maybe the size of a bed between a twin and full size mattress. We tried cuddling on it together while folded out and, when I leaned onto the side with the backrest laid down, we literally fell because the futon folded back up and fell on its side
