Quality for the price. It’s easy to use, comes with good directions and temps listed on the thermometer. It’s pretty fast to read temps. The magnet on it is strong. Easy to carry around to the grill and inside.

This product does the base job: it lets you know the temperature of your food. The probe is long enough that I'm not burning my hands over the grill. It's got plenty of convenience features to boot: backlight, Celsius/Fahrenheit swap, Hold, a magnet for easy storage, and a bottle opener! It also has a few references of common meat temperature requirements, on the front and back.

The only thing I wish it had is a spring loaded probe, but that's no big deal. If they really wanted to go crazy they could add an LED light for night cooking, but I'm not holding that against them.

Got it on sale and am very happy with it (less happy with the slow shipping, but it eventually got here).

This is a great digital thermometer. The packaging was great and it comes with good instructions and an extra battery. I really like the ease of the thermometer and the fact that it’s waterproof. It is accurate in reading the temperature of whatever you are measuring and easy to store. The accuracy of this product is awful! When it was fresh out of the box, boiling water read less than 90C. After I calibrated it with ice water according to the instruction, boiling water pouring out from screaming kettle reading was 94C in the insulated Zojirushi thermal cup and dropping by the seconds. How could a probe read temp off by this much? returning it asap.
