I was truly excited about the Ivation EZ-Bed. In theory it is an excellent concept. However, in reality it started losing air the second time it was inflated to be used. I used it in September and attempted to use it during the Winter Holiday. It was inflated, and allowed to sit. Upon my return, it had deflated. I attempted to re-inflate without success.
I used it indoors, I have no young children, I have no pets. I can not imagine why this happened. Although the 30 day return policy has expired, there is an extended one year warranty that I have no idea as to how to activate . I have not had any success with getting in touch with a human to solve this problem. This product is too costly to just say oh well.

Ordered maybe two months ago. Due to traveling, only actually slept on it for maybe 4-5 weeks. Bought a foam topper and can say it was comfortable enough. Two days ago I woke up in the middle of the night and it was not nearly as firm as when I went to bed. I got out of bed and put in inflate mode. It inflated back to normal and I went back to bed. A few hours later, same thing. Last night I inflated fully and went to bed. An hour later and it was very deflated, I struggled to climb out of the EZ Bed. I inflated once again, and it again lasted maybe an hour. The bed has a leak and is useless now.
I love it! Makes having the in laws stay over a little less painful!

Update: the zippers have become very fragile and it is a pain in the butt to zip back up into its case. I now have to have a second person to help because it won't fold away properly. I would expect after $250 and the other reviews of how easy it is to put away that I wouldn't be having such a hard time. It is extremely frustrating and I almost wish I had bought a regular floor air mattress.
We purchased this EZ-Bed for family to sleep on while visiting. Though this bed is also sold in other high-end furnishings catalogs, and generally gets decent reviews, it was a disappointment for us. The family members who slept on it had complaints: 1. It is shaped in a way that tends to make two people sleeping on it roll toward the middle of the mattress. 2. The mattress needs a foam topper of some sort as the top of the mattress is not comfortable with just a traditional mattress pad. 3. The way the legs of the frame do not lock in place creates 'rattling' sounds when you move.
4. It leaked air during the night.
We had done, what we thought, was enough research and had hopes this EZ-Bed would be the solution to our need for a extra guest bed. Clearly it was not. The price of the bed itself is just too high to justify buying a foam / memory topper to try and make it more comfortable.
Great design poor quality. Purchased and unpacked and inflated once, went to use it to sleep on after being stored all snug in it's super handy packaging and it won't hold air. Agonizing night laying on the support beams. Guess the husband is running out to pick up a cheap twin mattress today, needed a bed for two weeks to tend to a post surgical pup. Yes I purchased it two years ago but it was only unpacked, tried and repacked.
We got it for camping been camping a long time can't get up & down like we used to having the ez-bed is a joy to be hold so comfortable the height is just right no rolling around the floor when my sweetheart get up going camping again for 2 weeks here's follow-up to our camping we set up the bed with 120 amp converter & car battery we had other campers watch as the bed expand & set itself up in 10 minutes (it took a little long with the battery) everyone wanted to know where we got it & how to set it up looking forward to our fall camping trip in Oct we won't leave home without our ez-bed here're photos of our tent & the bed made up
I LOVE this bed! I love that it is as high as a regular bed, so that my guests (or sometimes, ME) don't have to crawl out on the floor... And I just love watching it do its transformer thing and unfold itself in just two minutes, soooo cool. My grandkids kids think I am the coolest nana ever, that alone was worth the price. But it also stays inflated - unbelievable! And my guests cannot believe it is an airbed. I do wish that it came with a good cover for the bed so that you couldn't feel the mattress so much, I went to the store and bought a nice mattress cover. But really, love it. And fun to watch it deflate, folds itself back up, I put it back in the case, and even though it is heavy, the wheels make it incredibly portable. I have been looking at these beds for years and thought they couldn't possible be as wonderful as they look - but guess what! THEY ARE!
Having it inflate in 40 seconds was really cool. Laying on it for the first time, it was firm but not the firm I expected. It still had too much give for the hardest setting. Putting it back in its case, that's another story. It took me twenty minutes. Much like getting a new sleeping bag back in its original box. It took a lot of pushing and squeezing to make it back in, and then only after I held the switch in the deflate mode to get the remaining air out. Even then, I had to push so hard, one of the legs made a small tear in the cover. Bummer. I also had to work hard to get a zipper around the final corner.

I am disappointed at the overall material quality . The cover, legs, blow up bed and pump switch appear too fragile for long term durability. Especially for the price.
Likes: easy to install, light weight, easy to deflate.
Dislikes: Does not fold back when deflated, although it is easy to push it all back.
So I purchased this item it is a very good product I love the fact that you just take it out of the box plug it in and select "inflate" once it is done it folds it self out. Very comfortable and so easy to put it away. I would definitely refer this product.
Comfortable but I am not sure the zipper will last on the carry case it seems very tight and I could it breaking down the road and then storing will be an issue.
easy to transport around
It's good for small space with visitor coming for sleepover.
If the stand is more stabler, the whole set will be more prefect.
This is one of the best item I have ever bought I would recommended to every one.
Thank you.
To make it perfect I used a padded mattress cover to eliminate the feeling of sleeping on vinyl and to stop the sheets from sliding on the vinyl. Guest reported a good nights sleeo.
The bad is very comfortable to sleep in. Convenient to inflate and deflate and easy to put away
Fantastic bed very comfortable and a breeze to set up and take down. Just plug it in and watch it all go into place !!!!!
convenience
Totally convenient. Love the way it sets itselfe up and packs itself away
Package was damaged. Wheel broken off. Was going to return it but too hard to get it to UPS. Need to protect the wheels.
this bed does almost everything by itself. Plug it in and turn it on and it opens and fills by itself. for deflation it pushes all the air out and for the most part (you have to push/compact it back to storage size) deflates on its own too. Comfortable for an air mattress, fairly sturdy. a little worried about the strength of the zipper when storing it away again as it's a fairly tight fit to put back in the storage "bag/case". It's on wheels and can be dragged around by handle and two wheels.
