My only regret is I ordered the XL for our 100 pound German Shepherd and while it is a great size, he definitely fits on it and can sleep comfortably, a Giant would have been better because he likes to stretch out when he sleeps and lounges. But that was my mistake, no fault of the bed itself. Also, he recently had surgery and is unable to get upstairs to sleep on the Queen guest bed which he loves, so we needed a good supportive bed that would aid him in his healing process. We took a chance ordering this online but it had such great reviews we were confident it would be a great purchase. And we weren't let down! This is the ONLY dog bed he has actually every slept in, it's supportive for his aging hips and the cover is very soft which just adds to the coziness. He loves the headrest as well. I also found my husband sleeping on it recently and I know he is picky about his bed so it's a win all around. Thanks for making a great product for our big fur babies!
This extremely expensive dog bed only lasted a week. We moved and wanted our Dane to have a comfy resistant dog bed instead of the couch and after a lot of research, we decided that with the tough, chew resistant fabric, this bed would be the last we would ever have to buy. Unfortunately though it didn’t last the week and now I spend my mornings picking up all the loose foam. My Dane doesn’t chew but “nests” where she’ll dig around until she gets comfortable. Maybe this bed would work for non-diggers but very disappointed it was so expensive and tore so easily.
In this video I'm trying to demonstrate how sturdy this bed is. The lighting isn't perfect, but I hope you can see how my knees and elbows are putting a lot of pressure per square inch into this bed, and I'm not even coming close to being able to press down to the ground. It's a very supportive and comfortable bed.
This particular bed is the XL size, which fits perfect for my German Shepherd. He loves the headrest and has plenty of room to stretch out. I highly recommend this bed.
So far so good! My Great Dane seems to appreciate his elbows are no longer digging into the hardwood floor. Expensive but worth it for my big guy... Wouldn't you say?!
