Fairly easy to put together. Very sturdy. Only complaint is that it’s not as detailed as the advertised.

The bed frame I received does not have the same level of ornate detail as shown in the photo. Functionally it is solid, but I am disappointed that the photo did not acurately represent the actual product.

First and foremost, the customer service (Lisa) was OUTSTANDING. We encountered a difficult shipping problem with FedEx and Lisa was energetic and tenacious in working through the problem to insure that we received the bed we ordered. She stayed in close touch throughout the process and she was clearly committed to the right outcome. I am grateful for her help and would clearly give 10 stars for the seller.

The bed exceeded all expectations. Although it did not exactly match the photo (number of intermediate posts), it is a beautiful piece of furniture. Very solid and sturdy.

Assembly was not difficult, but I would offer the following advice. (1) Ideally, this is a two-person job -- holding side rails and struts while attaching to head- and foot-boards; (2) if following the printed instructions -- complete step #5 (sub-assembly of cross supports) before attaching these to the side bars (step #4) -- I anticipated this and saved a lot of time and difficult space constraints). --- my only complaint - one 1/4" bolt was shipped without threads and I had to buy a 45 cent replacement.

In total - a great purchase!

Absolutely love the look! It looks like an antique bed. My daughter-in-law thought it was an antique when she first saw it. You do need a box spring with this bed. I bought a 7.5" box spring to go with this bed for my elderly dad but should have ordered a lower one. I need to get a 4" to make the bed a little lower so it will be easier for him to get in and out.

I was pleased with this metal bed. It is very attractive, reminding me of those beds I used to see in farm homes back in Illinois when I was a boy. It's top quality but light, very easy to assemble. and the frame design, for strength, is excellent except for the attachment of the headboard which wobbles more than I wanted. I tightened the attachment bolts but this didn't seem to help. However, over the years, I have discovered that this ia a universal problem with metal beds because of the leg inserts used to make the headboard higher than the foot-board. But, at least, this bed's leg inserts are designed for easy alignment. The bottom line is that this is a beautiful bed that is well designed, easy to assemble and is priced right! I would definitely buy it again.

I don’t normally post reviews but this bed is gorgeous. I was able to put the bed together with no problems with the help of my 9 year old. The bed is very sturdy and came before the scheduled delivery date.
