My 2.5 year old started refusing to sleep in her crib, and I had her mattress set on the floor. This was a quick easy and affordable option to quickly turn her mattress into a cute, safe, “big girl” bed. The bed was very easy to build, took less than an hour to put together. It fits a crib mattress, so is a super easy transition from crib to toddler bed. No need to purchase a new mattress or anything! My daughter loves it, and it’s sturdy! I can lay in with my daughter, and I sit on it to read her stories, we are probably technically over the weight limit but it feels very sturdy! Easy way to transfer your kid from crib to toddler bed, and a very affordable option!
Perfect little toddler bed frame & great price. And not hard at all to put together I put it together myself took me about 20 minutes
This toddler bed is everything that it claims to be. Shipped on time and delivered to our door for assembly, it was easy enough to put together (my wife and I did fine with the included tools/pieces/parts) and, of course, it accompanies a crib mattress perfectly (recommend a Serta for functionality and low-cost here - see separate review). The Espresso color matches the rest of the Espresso colore furniture we have ever purchased just fine. From a workmanship and quality perspective, it seems quite sturdy (looks fine, works fine) but it also seems like (as the product claims) I wouldn't want to press the weight limit recommoendations that come along with it. The upper recommended weight limit is 50 pounds so I don't know how long we'll be able to use it knowing that our 2.5 year old is 35-pounds-plus already. Anyone purchasing this product will likely want to keep their toddler from using it as a trampoline or, in general, from jumping on it. We do not allow our children to climb on or jump on furniture. Our daughter is a real "climber" but the jungle-gym is at the park down the street. Additionally, you will likely want to keep the adults in the house from putting thier full-weight on it (again, the product isn't recommended for nor intended to hold/carry/withstand that kind of weight). I am expecting that, with regular use and a little care, we'll be able to have the advantage of this piece of furniture as our toddler grows to weights even surpassing the recommended limit. It really does seem sturdy and it does seem like it will perform well if used responsibly. We have been using the bed for two months (almost three) and our toddler has fallen out of the bed a good handfull of times but this is because she sleeps "all over the place" and not because of any manufacturing deficiencies. The side rails really do help as the toddler transitions to a "real bed" from a partially enclosed convertible crib with toddler-rail. By the way, in our experience, moving baby/todler from crib to converted crib with todler-rail at 23 months-old and THEN over to the toddler bed at 27 months-old really worked well (we'll follow a similar progression with our 2nd child). Good product, nice price, fits our needs perfectly. From the price perspective, and given all its other qualities, this purchase is easily and entirely recommendable.
I purchased one and my daughter's grandpa purchased another one! Size is perfect, my crib mattress fit right in. Assembly was easy and it is quit sturdy! My only issue is the paint scrapes off easily.
If you have littles this is definitely worth it and functional. Fits in snuck places and is very easy to clean if your little is an artist. The thickness of the wood isn’t too bad but it’s quite comfortable.
It’s a great bed and very easy to set up but the roll bars did come off pretty easy but other than that it’s held up to all kinds of kid shenanigans like jumping and bouncing
I’ve bought this brand of bed frame for 3/5 of my children so far and they’re incredibly nice. Very durable, pretty easy to assemble for any level of handiness, and cute. The color is just as vibrant as it is in the pictures and the height is perfect for toddlers to get in and out of independently and in the rare occurrence of falling out of bed despite the side rails , it is low enough that they won’t be hurt. I highly recommend this bed for small children.
First let me share my little warning. The included instruction sheet is inconsistent. In some drawings the holes for the side rails are represented. In other drawings they are not. This could cause you to think you should be working on the other side of the board. So just keep that in mind or the instruction sheet could get you turned around and peeve you off with having to disassemble and reassemble stuff. I used to deliver and build furniture for a furniture store years ago so I know my way around assembling furniture. I have to say that given the instruction sheet inconsistencies and the way the mattress support boards are installed, this isn’t the most intuitive piece to build and can get frustrating.
Otherwise, we really like it.
When we lay my daughter down, she likes to snuggle a little bit to go to sleep. This bed is sturdy enough for me to lie next to her in it (I’m 185 lbs. man). Granted, there’s no leg room for an adult so you’re in the fetal position, but it’ll hold more weight then I expected.
The pink color is a nice shade and the paint is even and consistent throughout. The bed is lightweight too (if you need to move it).
The only tools you need to assemble this is the included Allen wrench and a blade to open the package, of course.
We’re all sleeping better since we got our toddler out of our bed and into her own. No more kicks in the ribs in the middle of the night. LOL!
I do recommend this bed, just be patient assembling it and expect a bit of monkey business to get the mattress support boards installed. Once they’re in and you’ve screwed the sides of the bed all the way in, they’ll stay in place even if you move the bed around.
Can't beat the price. Solid, sturdy (so far), cute, easy to build, and fits a crib mattress perfectly. My little girls love it. Only one has fallen off (oops) during her sleep, but since it's so low to the floor she didn't even wake up lol
Easy to install, good value for money. The kids jump on it, hasn't broken yet. I will beef it up just in case
