Read reviews that mention:

This bed frame and headboard are unusually well made. Yes, the "wooden" sections are particle board but even they are well done. Instructions are easy to follow, parts are labeled well and there are even some spare parts included as well as a small hammer etc.

Worked slowly and it took about an hour including a break to get it together. Tighten everything again once it is all assembled and it should be adequate for someone up to 250 pounds or slightly more.

The only things I noticed was that a traditional mattress will slide around on the lateral metal supports but that is easily overcome with a rug gripper laid over them.

All in all, well worth the money compared to what else is out there preassembled from a furniture store at a significantly higher price and the same or less quality.

FYI - I am 73 and if I can do this, someone with patience that can read and follow the instructions page for page will have no difficulty.

Additionally, there is an actual 12 inches of clearance under the bed so under bed storage is awesome.

Arrived on time and went together with minimal difficulty. Took about 90 minutes all up. Instructions were for most part clear and understandable. LED light strip took a some effort to get in right place but nothing too difficult. Love the bed, the shelves, the electric and USB outlet, and the light strip with different colors and intensity. Also like the clearance underneath for storage. Bed frame is solid and does not move or creak My 14 inch mattress fits perfectly although does not leave much headboard room.
Would definitely purchase again if required.

The bed was easy to put together and seems sturdy after a week+ of use, and was a great price. I really like having a shelf with a lip for my phone, book, and other nightstand adornments, and it looks good. I can store a lot under the bed, which is nice for hiding some clutter.
The "hidden" shelf isn't much use if your nightstands are taller than 24" as they may block the opening, if they are close to your bed.
The main headboard panel came damaged on the corner but you don't see it because our mattress is tall. I had already taken down my old frame so I did not want to wait for a replacement.
My two big complaints: first, there are no tabs or stops to keep the mattress on the frame, so if you lean into it the mattress can slide. Second, the light strip needs to be plugged into a USB port so you either have to use the one on the included power outlet or use an additional plug or outlet.

I bought a similar frame from a different manufacturer that was easy to assemble, but required several more pieces to be connected. The majority of this frame is literal unfolding pre-assembled pieces into straight bars and connecting them with about half the hardware necessary for that other bed frame. Total assembly time was probably about 45 minutes including laying out the pieces and getting organized. My only complaint is the led light. The other bed frame came with a nice remote, can change colors and brightness and the led strip was already in place. With this frame, I had to peel off the backing of the LED light strip and adhere it into a carved out channel on one of the pieces -- totally not a big deal at all, but the instructions didn't really say which way to point the wired end. Also, the led is basically one setting: WHITE...you can adjust the brightness, but other than that, it has strobe effects that I can't figure out why ANYONE would want unless they're trying to induce a seizure. Would be nice to be able change the colors, but honestly, you could buy a $5 light strip from Walmart with a remote and easily replace this one. The wire for the lights has a controller built into it as well with buttons that are tiny and basically inaccessible once it's installed -- it sits behind the frame in an unreachable position -- I guess I can install a smart plug or a Clapper to make turning the lights on/off easier.

I do like the frame though -- it sits at a nice height with a ton of clearance underneath in case you need to store boxes or whatever. I bought this to use with a Casper foam mattress and it's perfect...though the mattress does tend to slide around a little right now, but I'm sure there's a solution I can come up with for that.

All in all, this was a great buy, I just hated to have to have paid so much for shipping, but what can you do?
