Love this bed for smaller apartments, children’s first twin size beds and those who enjoy being close to the ground but not directly on it! It’s definitely aesthetically pleasing as well with the nice design. Easy to put together. One person could do it alone but with two people you can get it done in about thirty minutes. It’s worth the money for sure. If you have small children and you’re getting this for them my only thing is don’t let them jump on it because it will damage the thin slats. That’s one dislike but not enough to rate it lower because I love this frame!
I like how the bed looks, it does need a longer twin mattress and thicker to come above the bottom of the headboard. We transitioned my son from a toddler bed to this and the height from the floor is perfect for that. I purchased this 8 months ago and it has broken twice. Once my three year old jumped on me sitting on the bed and the other him and two other little ones were playing and it broke. The wood supporting the slats just detaches and falls straight to the ground. We did use it as a guest bed for an adult for a few nights and my husband has fallen asleep in it before and it supports adults fine, just no jumping! I just added 4 2x4s, one under each existing piece of wood. Hoping we won’t have anymore issues. It is cheap enough, a few extra supports aren’t an issue. If it breaks again, I will be done with it. Will update if that happens.
This bed frame is exactly what I needed. My son just turned 3 and needed a bed frame that wasn\'t too high off the ground and this works beautifully. It was super easy to assemble. If anyone is having issues with \"missing pieces\" they are inside the headboard. I was able to assemble the whole bed frame by myself and with a 3 year old trying to \"help\" me so it shouldn\'t give anyone issues. It also has a very stylish look to it and no hard edges to potentially run into during the night. Definitely recommend!
*EDIT*
DO NOT BUY THIS BED!!!!!
I purchased this bed in January and it began to fall apart only two months after assembling it for my 3 year old. He only weighs 36 pounds and I am 160 and I only lay on it to read at night so it definitely should not be having the issues it has. I have had to fix this bed more times than I can count. The boards (and screws) rip down off the siding and the mattress falls down to the ground. Good thing it is close to the floor because when my 3 year old has been on the bed when this happens, it\'s not a far drop. I have had to screw and re-screw so many times that I am running out of places to add new holes in the wood. Two of the boards snapped in half within three months of having this bed. Again, a 3 year old sleeps on this bed and surprisingly enough does not jump on it, so this is just cheap materials at it\'s finest. It is a shame because the head board is really nice and it does look like a quality bed but is definitely not functioning. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
This is a very solid bed! Very quiet and easy to assemble! I bought this bed for my 6\'2 250lbs son. He loves it!
Took 2 full weeks to receive a complete box. First one was declared damaged half way thru shipping after taking 5 days to ship out. I was able to get a replacement sent out faster the second time. Second one was moments from disaster. The cardboard it is shipped in is very thin for a product that weighs almost 75lbs. Once I got it, assembly was ok. Didn\'t take too long but the bolts and washers are just thrown together without any labeling or separation. Once I had it all together I had to get it in position. I highly recommend that if you build this by yourself, build it where you want it to end up because the sides cannot hold up to any friction from carpet. it will rack unless you lift up all of the legs off the carpet and pivot on the headboard side. I hard some quite uncomfortable cracking from mine, but I think it is ok for now. If you have a second set of hands, you should be able to lift it into position with no problems. Standard bed skirts are too small and will not fit properly and my mattress doesn\'t fill out the entire platform. It is too wide by maybe an inch and too long by about 2 inches. Still a very functional and affordable platform mattress frame.
Easy build, cute, perfect for our room. Purchased the king size. Arrived on time.
It\'s a nice bed but first bed was stoped in transport because it was broken. 2nd bed we unpacked it seemed OK. Took it up the stairs and started to unpack the back pocket 3 out of 4 stats are broken and a corner piece is unstable. My husband is Mcgiver and is attempting to fix. They need to change the way this is backed for shipping its not well packed and that how the headboard got broken. We will see how long this last if he gets it repaired like he wants to we should be fine. I just don\'t think we should pay full price for a piece we had to repair.
The bed is actually made of nice sturdy solid wood, and not pressed wood board like some cheaper bed frames, which is what I was expecting for this price. But I was shockingly surprised when we started unpacking it and saw the quality. It\'s the perfect height for my 14\" memory foam mattress, I am a little person so it makes it perfect height for both me and my husband who is of average height. I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for a well made and affordable bed frame.
The only complaint we had is that the directions are just photos, but other than that it is pretty easy to assemble. You will need a screw gun to secure the end sections of the slats to the frame, but they are pre-drilled if you don\'t have an electric one and it should be simple to screw in with a hand screw driver.
I absolutely LOVE this bed! Easy to assemble, sturdy, the fabric looks and feels great. Just ordered the exact same one for another bedroom. Very happy with the purchase!
