Ellie 14 Inch Bamboo Platform Bed Frame, Wood Slat Support, No Box Spring Needed, Easy Assembly, Queen

Read reviews that mention:

I purchased this bed frame for my daughter. I was able to put it together by myself. I don't have the instructions anymore for reference for the point of the review but it was not difficult at all to put together. I needed a simple frame for a small room. The color is light brown/tan and is sturdy enough. A twin sized mattress fits nicely on the frame and it doesn't shift around at all. I like it. MY daughter likes it and that is what's most important. I would recommend and purchase again.

There are few things I hate more than assembling furniture and wow, was I blown away by the care this company has put into making the assembly process as easy as possible for idiots like me!

Every part comes with multiple sticker labels (like this side up) but more importantly, numbered labels so all you have to do is find the two parts that share a number and bam, they get screwed together right at that spot!

I made zero mistakes, knew exactly which piece to put where and in what direction and bam, before I knew it, I had a ready to use bedframe.

The bed itself seems very high quality for the price. Materials are sturdy, looks great and feels more expensive than the price I paid.

I will 100% check out this brand for any future furniture needs that I have.

FUNCTION & LOOK: Five stars, very nice. Looks classy. Nice, genuine wood. No complaints so far! Found this thanks to a Wirecutter rec. Overall, fantastic for the price (compared to similar quality & more expensive frames).

ASSEMBLY: Got this about a week ago and so far love it. I put it together myself [what? a woman!? BY HERSELF?! so neat so hot so super cool... and it's just, like, an ordinary tuesday after work for me (not to brag but to brag...)]. No but seriously, I have every faith anyone could do this assembly in reasonable time—UNLESS putting furniture together inherently frustrates you... then maybe recruit help. No shame in it.

Note -- assembly: I did have to pause and double-check myself at one point where the directions confused me, it turned out I was doing it right, so I happily just moved on and ended up finishing pretty quickly. I wasn't timing it, so I can't say I did it in under an hour, or thirty minutes. But it feels like it was super quick...

Note 2 -- brand/assembly: I love the little ratchet allen wrench this comes with! Our last bed frame was also from Zinus, a metal one we now use in our guest room, & that came with one, too. We've used that wrench assembling other, non-Zinus things—it's just *so* handy...

Note 3 -- brand: Zinus also throws in this other, to me, funny, but also thoughtful & almost-classy touch when you buy their stuff—at least the bed frames (I think it's meant to say, hey, customer, we care enough to go the extra mile; we like you; so please can we haz 5 stars? & maybe/probably it's useful to some folks): a very svelt green envelope filled with several greeting cards. The cards inside have minimalist/generally likeable cover designs and are blank on the inside. I believe they're meant to be filled in & gifted to friends and loved ones... and I almost maybe would, except the back side says "Zinus" and has the logo and links to their site, and, idk... maybe this is just me, but, for me, if I'm receiving this card as a gift, I'm not feeling super special once I recognize (or don't recognize but then log on to the website and quickly learn about) the brand, and that they make furniture, and then piece together this cheap/lazy buddy of mine just gave me whatever they had lying around from some totally unrelated, not-for-me, probably-Amazon purchase... I would recommend to the brand: consider taking out the self-promotion on the back. I know, it seems to defeat much of the point of this nice touch, but, if there are many others like me, they ain't gifting these to people unless you take that out. And if I *could* gift these to people, I'd think, wow, cool brand. Very classy touch. (As it is, I find it classy then not classy then kind of classy then mostly confusing but still hope you keep it going with or without the logo etc.)

I was in the market for a cute but very affordable bed frame. This was exactly what I needed. It was very easy to put together and the quality was very worth the price. Height is perfect to slide small bins underneath. The main concern was noise and if it would creak or squeak…it doesn’t! Overall great purchase!

This bed was pretty easy to set up. I bought it because of the good reviews. I made sure to tighten the screws in hopes there wouldn't be any squeaking, and so far (after about a month of sleeping on it) I haven't heard any squeaks at all. The color is nice and it's sturdy. I've hit it with the vacuum a couple times on accident and haven't seen any damage. It came in a pretty small box and would be really easy to move with me since it doesn't have a headboard. It's comfortable and meets my needs for a pretty cheap bedframe. And, no box frame needed!!!

This bed frame was very easy to put together (2 people makes it much easier). It is really nice looking (cherry) and sturdy. I ditched my box spring as it made the bed way too high. It came with a nice a ratcheting allen wrench to make it quick to assemble. Extra washers. Definitely recommend this bed frame.

For the price this is an excellent bed. It is well made, the quality is great, and it’s exactly as pictured. I was able to put it together myself. It took about 45 minutes. I recommend not tightening all the bolts till the end. This makes it easier. The directions are pictures and all the parts are labeled. It comes with a ratchet tool for righting the bolts. You do have to use their tool. The bolts are not standard and you can’t use your own drill to tighten them. But it’s easy enough with their tool.

Love this bed frame beautiful wood finish, very sturdy and tool are properly packaged. Took me less than 30 minutes to install.
No squeaky sound at all, does not slide.
Also bought a Zinus box spring mattress, they are a perfect match.

Package arrived damaged and product has several marks and missing pegs.

Worst of all, the holes were SEVERELY misaligned!!! I had to scrape off the borders of the holes with a sharp object to make it bigger in order to complete the build.

Would have been a return on the spot had I not badly needed a bed.

Highly disappointing since the instructions were very clear, so what could have been an hour or less of straightforward building turned into 3 gruesome hours of trying to fit stuff together.

This is beautiful made with solid cherry wood I really like the packaging and guides me to assemble the bed frame also comes with Allen tool that I keep that for future job I also made headboard for this and now this is my lovely bed frame, thank you for great job highly recommend

It looks great in person, price was reasonable.
Assembly was easy. Instructions provided were easy to follow
I have been using it for over a month, feels quite sturdy. Wood finishing looks very good quality.

This is our second purchase. We have the King + Queen sizes (in the pine and cherry color) and it does the job perfectly. My partner has a minor complaint that the bolts loosen up over time. I personally, don't feel that to be a game changer for the value. The frame is sturdy and easy to assemble (even by yourself). This is a great option for those who want a quality bed frame without breaking the bank or sacrificing style.

Looks much nicer than a metal frame. Easy to assemble and sturdy. Lots of storage underneath.
