Over all I am very happy with the product its well made and the chairs have room to comfortably sit. I was surprised that the quality was this good for the low price. Shipping took a few days but it was all packed well in one box. Now I will say you will have no finger nails by the end of the day. The building is super easy the hard part is getting the nails to turn while holding pieces together it was hell to build and you get arthritis from it but if you can manage to figure it out and have patience with the screws the thing is easy to build it took me two hours alone because with another person meaning my partner it would be a divorce starter kit for sure. I would say patience is key and the outcome is great looks nice and it's sturdy.
I just received this set yesterday and put it together in the evening. I did it myself without hubby's help. Took just about 2.5 hours total. Here's my opinion:
1. Organize all the parts in their groups. Follow the instruction guide.
2. Be patient, you're using an allen wrench. Finger tips may get sore. Mine did.
3. Tighten everything real good and it will be sturdy.
4. It's light weight and smaller in size than you're big expensive sets.
5. The cushions aren't terrible, a little thin, but enough cushion for my liking. I'm going to make my own covers for more color.
6. For the price, I think it's a fantastic set!
Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I will know more as we use it but again, for that price I will get my money's worth.
Once you get done assembling the thing, it’s a surprisingly sturdy and comfortable set! Looks super nice on my patio and came at a great price, and arrived a little early I think too. Looks way more expensive than it was. I could do with *slightly* wider arms on the chairs/loveseat for more comfort when resting your elbows on them, but otherwise they are great.
4 stars instead of 5 because the other reviews aren’t wrong - this set is kind of a nightmare to assemble. The wrought iron frames aren’t perfectly aligned so not all the holes line up (they’re pretty close, though). It takes a fair amount of mashing and shoving and pulling to leverage the parts into the right position to get them screwed in. And frankly, the instructions could be a little more blunt about the “don’t tighten everything immediately or you’re just going to have to loosen it all again anyway to get the pieces in the right place.” At the end of the day for me, though, if all the holes have screws and they aren’t wobbling around, it’s still a functional chair. I am waiting on 5 missing screws...I have some make-shift M6’s that are the wrong length as placeholders until I get the replacements from the seller. Updates with seller responsiveness and helpfulness to follow!
Each chair and the love seat each probably took at least 30-45 minutes to assemble (on my own - might be faster with a team) because of the stiffness of the wrought iron frames and that the holes aren’t perfectly aligned. Nothing wobbles, though! The table was easy - 10 minutes tops, mostly because I could actually get to the screws from every angle. That the arms and backs of the chairs prevented accessibility to the screws and corners to push them into place was the major difficulty I had.
But for <$200 for a 4-piece set that looks like it was closer to $500, when the next best thing I could find was twice as expensive, I’d do it over in a heartbeat. Highly recommend; just know that some patience and lots of elbow grease is necessary to assemble this monster.
I love my new patio furnitures. So easy to assemble. And love the sturdiness of them and I like that the materials it made out of is waterproof yet looks classic almost like old rustic wood. My whole family is enjoying them in our backyard. Totally recommend it!!
Decent for the price but if you’re looking for something comfortable, easy to put together, and doesn’t come defective parts then I suggest buying something else.
I usually do not post reviews but I’m posting this because I hope it helps someone else from a hassle.
This morning I put together each piece as instructed. Do not attempt to scan the QR code. It just brings you to a set that isn’t the same as the one sold on Amazon.
The product I received was previously returned and I see why, now. Not only are the chairs a pain to put together, the tools given are horrible on your hands and tough to use with this product, and it takes a long time to assemble.
I put the table together last as it’s packaged in a way to do so. Just when I thought that was the easiest item to put together I went to place the dark colored blue/gray glass (which doesn’t show well on the website depending on the color you choose. I bought the brown set with beige/tan cushions) onto the table to find out it didn’t fit at all. I had to re-assemble the table. Which did nothing. I finally laid the table on its smallest side and adjusted it from left to right which solved the problem, somewhat. I went to put the glass back on (my now wobbly table) and realized the suction cup on one end will not attach because the glass is still somewhat “off”.
If you have small children, I probably wouldn’t let them go near the table or maybe even not use the table at all.
If that wasn’t enough to make a Sunday morning a little frustrating, Amazon has a support website that leads you to the “Homall Gaming Chair” support website. No where on the support website did I notice anything about my product. .
It does look nice, minus the glass being a dark blue/gray and not properly fitting on the table. If you aren’t going to use it much and need something for looks, go for it.
It is ruse resistance. the quality of the build is great. love my set!
