I cannot praise this mattress enough, it has been a total lifesaver for my girlfriend and I. Not one did we manage to snag a memory foam, king-sized mattress for $350, but somehow this thing is even more comfortable than a $2200 Sealy memory foam mattress!

*Packaging:

Packaging was smart and easy, it came in a box that was about 4.5 feet tall and about 2 feet wide. Inside the box the mattress was wrapped in a poly-paper sack with a drawstring and within that packaging (which was design to protect the vacuum-sealed plastic around the mattress) is the plastic cover that holds the compress, vacuum-sealed mattress. We were stunned they were able to fit such a large mattress into such a tiny form factor.

*Setup/Decompression:

Once we got it onto the bed frame (I suggest keeping the mattress in the plastic cover and unfolding onto the bed frame) we cut the corner at the plastic cover of the end of the bed and watched it inflate rapidly. Within an hour the bed was almost 100% inflated, but he end of the night it was ready to sleep on and had reached 12 inches (around 6-8 hours time). Don't be afraid or turned off by what folks say about memory foam/boxed mattresses, this one doesn't take long at all to decompress and you could honestly sleep on it after an hour of inflation! Fantastic!

*Comfort:

Good Lord this thing is comfy! It's firm yet plush, hard to describe as it molds to your body rapidly (and resets form just as rapidly once you're off it) and makes you feel like you're sleeping on a cloud/weightless. This bed is great for all sleepers really, having slept on my side, back and belly, I haven't woken up with a stiff/sore anything thus far. Sleep comes on quicker, I sleep deeper and longer, and usually wake up in the same position I feel asleep in (same goes for the GF and doggie as well!). The mattress had no noxious odor, maybe a little plastic the first day, but within 24 hours it dissipated and smelled fresh. One common criticism of memory foam mattresses is temperature regulation, aka "sleeping hot", but no worries, this mattress is cool and I run hot all the time, even for me it was never too warm nor was it too cool, this is my "Goldilocks" mattress! The bed transfers no motion (did the wine glass test, albeit nervously, but alas, it passed!) so you won't disturb your partner when shifting or getting up from/into the bed, so much so that our watchdog of a pup didn't even wake up when I left the bed, which is a first and feat in of itself! If you like soft/more plush mattresses, I wouldn't qualify this as a super soft/plush (think thick pillow-top mattresses) mattress, I'd say it's a good blend of plushness with a medium-firm base that gives you the best of both worlds when it comes to pressure relief and spinal alignment. If you've woken up with a sore lower back, shoulder pain, neck pain, or have a difficult time sleeping through the night/tossing and turning a lot then this mattress will solve your problem, truly amazing comfort for the price paid!

*Materials/Construction/Quality:

The mattress feels as solid as any other higher priced memory foam mattress, like I said earlier, this feels comfort and construction-wise like the $2200 Sealy memory foam mattress we already had. The Jacquard cover is a nice material, very soft, and feels well made. It is easy to remove in the event you need to wash it, although I suggest purchasing a memory foam-specific mattress cover that is water resistant/waterproof to protect against spills, bodily fluids, pets, etc. The Green Tea® Extract in the foam layers is interesting, touted benefits is that it's anti-fungal and anti-microbial while being an odor fighter to boot. Time will tell if this is a marketing gimmick or truly beneficial, but I appreciate the thoughtfulness and eco-friendly solution that should enhance the longevity, health, and comfort of this mattress over time. The foam layers become indistinguishable once the mattress is fully decompressed providing a feeling of solidity and high quality. It weighs around 93 lbs when compressed/in the box, once decompressed fully it weighs considerably more, I'm not sure how much, but it has some serious heft and will be difficult to move, however; the mattress does fold/roll nicely so when move out time comes it shouldn't be too much of a burden.

*Value:

Considering I've owned expensive memory foam mattresses before, my statement still stands that this mattress competes 1:1 with a $2200 Sealy memory foam mattress. For $350 for a king-sized memory foam mattress, thats an incredible value, considering I'm a Prime customer too, the 2 day shipping was amazing and a lot better than waiting on a mattress company to deliver it or cart it home via roof rack. All in all, the value is immense as the price to comfort and quality ratio is mind blowing. We'll see how long this mattress holds up, but even if it lasts 3-5 years, the price is still easy on the wallet when considering alternatives. Are you going to get a Purple-level mattress at this price point? No, but you shouldn't expect that either, that's not to say it's not comfy, it is incredibly comfortable, but don't expect it to get space-age, cutting-edge sleep technology at $350, but it does edge out big name-brand memory foam mattresses at 1/6th the cost.

*Overall:

This mattress is a great buy and I would recommend it to all my friends and family if they are in the market for a new mattress. I have not seen anything like this on the market in terms of price to comfort and quality while being competitive with mattresses 6-8 times more expensive. If your looking for a memory foam mattress and don't want to break the bank but don't want your sleep and back to suffer, look no further, the Zinus Memory Foam Green Tea Mattress is your best bet and buy. Get it!

I bought the 12" memory foam 'green tea' bed and all I can seem to say lately is... oh bed, I love you. I was used to sleeping on a very old tempur bed that had been breaking down over the past year. it was basically like sleeping on a hot lumpy sponge and I was waking up with a sore back after only about 4 hours of sleep. So I decided to upgrade myself. I did my research, spent three days talking to mattress stores, reading reviews and talking to people who had bought different beds. I tested beds, I checked prices, I looked at options, everything. I wanted to make sure I was buying a good bed that wouldn't leave me in agony like my old bed. I knew two people who'd bought beds from this company. So, I looked at all the options they offered and what they were made of and how people reviewed them. I ended up choosing the 12 inch memory foam green tea one. The price was right, and shipping wasn't terrible. I expected to get my bed in about a week... which would give me time to prepare to set it up. I got my bed in about 3 days from the point I submitted my order. I decided not to buy the bedframe they offer, as I still had my box from my last mattress. I kinda wish I'd bought their frame, as it sits higher than my current frame, but that's beside the point. I got everything set and ready to go, and opened my box. My mother laughed at the fact that a bed came in that small of a box and she was skeptical of it's quality. I was a bit cautious, but felt confident in my choice.

The bed is a bit difficult to get out of the box, and then the bag that it comes in. I can't see anyone being able to do so alone. once out of it's shipping bag, it's still sealed and fairly easy to just situate on the frame before opening. I highly recommend you don't unseal the mattress until you have it where you want it. once I cut into the plastic seal wrap, it instantly started to 'inflate' again. got the plastic pulled off of it and watched as within moments it was already filling out. There was barely any smell to it at all. I left my window cracked open just a bit that night just in case, but honestly, unless I had pressed my face up against it, I couldn't smell anything from it. I followed the instructions that came with it (yes, they send you instructions and care information) and I let it be for the remainder of that day, that night, and the following day. In total I think I left it just lay there and settle for about 30 hours. I'm extremely glad I did because it allowed the foam to expand to 11.75 inches. I wasn't gonna complain about the loss of a quarter of an inch. So i finally got to lay down on my bed!

The top layer of the bed is so nice and squishy that you don't even take notice that there's hard foam in the base layers. this nice super squishy top layer of foam makes the bed totally conform to you. the layer just under that is the typical memory foam, so even after the squishy foam sinks in, you've got regular memory foam to support you. If you sit on the edge it does sink in (but that's perfectly normal of any sort of foam edge) but as soon as you get up you can see it just fluff right back up. it's actually kinda fun to push down on it and watch how quick it recovers. you can kinda 'see' where the layers are when you look at the side. It comes with a nice cover, but when you're first looking it over, some of the layers aren't cut exactly to match at the sides. this didn't trouble me as once the sheets were on, you can't even tell. Oh yeah... for the 12 inch, buy deep pocket sheets. I got sheets with pockets up to 14", and they fit just perfectly.

I'm a side and back sleeper... so having a bad bed is like a cruel form of daily torture. This bed... oh man, this bed is great for side and back sleeping. I've gained over an hour of restful sleep each night, and I find I don't toss and turn as much. . my dog even loves this bed. she has her own bed to sleep on, but I still find her constantly sleeping in a corner of my bed. For the first time in years I find myself falling asleep in one position, and waking up hours later in the same position. I get up in the morning without back pain. I nearly cried that first morning when I got up and could just walk out of my room without being hunched over or limping from my back being so sore. It's been glorious to just simply get up and walk off without any pain. These days I have more issues waking up with 'dead arm' from sleeping on one side for too long... a problem I haven't had in years because my mattress kept me tossing all night. This bed also breathes so much better. My tempur bed usually left me sweaty as it just radiated my body heat back at me so I'd wake up sweltering. In summer I'd change out my sheets, make my bed and for about 5 months, I wouldn't even sleep in the bed because I needed the blankets and comforter under me to keep the bed from getting so hot. This bed doesn't have that issue. while it's still foam, it doesn't trap the heat in. Makes a huge difference in sleep quality when the temperature stays fairly regulated.

I find myself looking forward to laying on my bed each night. I sleep better and for longer intervals. I wake up with less pain in my body. I sleep on my sides without the constant ache in my hip from pressure. I'm not as exhausted as I have been in the past because I'm getting better sleep at night now. Seriously, I've recommended this mattress to many people already. it was so easy to buy, sets up without too much difficulty (with two people unpacking it) and it sleeps wonderfully. It's been a month now and I have absolutely no regrets with buying this bed. In fact, I'm hoping that they still make this bed when I need a new one, because I'd buy another one without hesitation.
The product is good , soft and cool. it is easy to maintain as well.
Easy to install - basically open it and let it come to fill size.
Very comfortable to sleep on. Fantastic price. Would buy again.
I was a little leary when this arrived thinking how can it be so light and box so small. Also it was very affordable. Then I opened it and set it up on the bed. It started to decompress immediately. I laid on it and oh my god! It was soooooo comfortable! That night was one of the best sleeps I've had in years. The next day I stayed in bed for quite some time because of how comfortable I was. The mattress caressed my entire body and released pressure. 10000% recommend this product.

It's a fantastic investment in better sleep.
We purchased a new RV with a Murphy bed and we were completely underwhelmed by the stock bed it came with. We ended up purchasing this one to replace it. It is comfortable for sleeping and we get a good night's rest. It also goes up into the Murphy bed wall correctly and doesn't strain the metal lock mechanism in the trailer. This completely replaced the old mattress and is not used as a topper. We are very happy with the purchase. If you are using it for the same reason we were then don't hesitate.
