Easy enough to put together. The metal isn't the strongest but it's sturdy enough for one person or couple. I wouldn't use handcuffs on the railings though, lmao could probably bend the metal if I tried hard enough. Looks excellent, feels great, best value! Very happy with this purchase. The bed arrived ahead of schedule, and everything was well packaged so no damage occurred despite the heavy weight. I was able to assemble it without assistance, and all of the pieces fit together properly. (If you have trouble with any legs being the wrong length, look again at the directions for which letter goes in which position - you likely just have the wrong part in hand. If you can't seem to fit the slats into your assembled outer frame, just slide one end all the way into its slot, then lower the other end into position, even the slat out between the slots, and *then* fit the positioning notches together. TIP: The little square plastic clips that push in to hold the slats in place are not reversible! One side has a lip and the other is flush with the push-in barbs. You want to install them with the lip facing AWAY from the slat, or you will have very sore thumbs.) The curved washers that fit smoothly against the headboard and footboard outer supports/legs are a very nice touch.

The directions could be a little easier to understand, but if you look closely and make sure you pay attention to the details, they are serviceable enough. I'm really pleased with the nice high headboard, which shows all of its decorative detail even above my upright body pillow with my 10-inch mattress. Also love the nice low footboard, especially as I was really hesitant to get a bed with a footboard at all! I haven't bruised myself on it yet, after a week's use. I've got a heavy queen Purple mattress on this bed, as well as my ~150-lb. self, and there's been no hint of wobbling or squeaking, no matter how much I move around. I love having over 12 inches of height beneath the bed for storage, too. This bed looks just like the images, looks great in my bedroom, and it's very practical as well, and although it was a lot of work disassembling and removing the old one and putting this one together, it was well worth it and I have no complaints. Highly recommended!

Slight update: The bed actually doesn't look JUST like the images - the decorative knobs are similar and the placement is the same, but they're shaped more like little beehives. (I've added a close-up pic for detail viewing.) The solder spots could also be a bit more smooth and blended in. It still looks great though, and for the price, I still give it five stars.

Purchased this after our old bed broke from my husband and toddlers’ nightly pillow fights. I love this bed frame. Assembly was easy and I was able to do it by myself in an afternoon - even with the aforementioned toddlers “helping.” It’s extremely sturdy and doesn’t squeak or move around. I like that it doesn’t require a box spring and has plenty of space for under bed storage. The slats provide plenty of mattress support and both my husband and I have been sleeping better. The finish is nice and easy to dust/clean. We’ve had it for a couple months now and it’s still as perfect as the day we got it. This bed really is an amazing value!

So far this bed is sturdy and a perfect fit. Instructions were easy, you can put this together by yourself. It came with all of the screws and it was labeled correctly. It lost a star because some of the pieces were a little rusted and discolored. In the grand scheme of things it doesn’t look like it matters much because you can’t tell when it’s put together. You get what you pay for. I think for the price, it is what it is.

Once it’s put together, it’s very hard to move it on carpet. I’m scared that it will break or bend the middle pieces. Keep that in mind if you like to have it against the wall when it comes time to change the sheets.

There is great storage space underneath, I’m able to fit my extra large rolling luggage underneath so that’s a plus. It doesn’t creak or make any noise when getting in and out of it. Overall it’s a great bed frame!

I'm very pleased with this frame. It took a while to get here but it's worth the wait. I usually have lots of pillows on my bed and if I put them all on, I can't see the bars on the headboard. But if I take some pillows off, I can see them and the whole bed looks better. You can see the difference in the two photos I provided. It took me about 3 hours to finish putting it together but I am a small, "older", female and I had to carry the pieces a few at a time from the basement to the second floor. But it was very easy to put together. Instructions are good if you are careful to look at the pictures. It's sturdy and the height is perfect for storage under the bed. I was able to put a bed skirt on it by cutting and hemming the corners. I don't like being able to see under the bed. I like the finished look. So that's that. Good luck purchasing this bed frame. I definitely recommend it.

I have probably gone through four bedframes through Amazon in my life, and let me tell you this one is the best one. why? This Victorian style bed also looks a bit coastal and has matched perfectly with my rooms aesthetic, the color is a beautiful egg shell like color and it fits perfect. Now you may question..What about the organization of it all? The Manual is so easy and organized to be able to read, it even tells you before hand, To double check to have all pieces before you build so if something happens you get your right pieces! Not just that alone, they give you very well pictures to describe how to build the bed frame. The screws were already put together and it made it 10x easier for me to build. As of my end result, the bedframe was beautiful, it is sturdy, has no loud noises and it has the most amazing color.

This bed is beautiful. I loved how easy it was to put together. It is quite, no squeaky joints. Sturdy and well made. I would recommend and will purchase one for extra bedroom.
