This is not what I would have chosen, but I guess this style is all the rage with teen boys? Son picked it out, husband assembled it. All I really did was push the 'order' button. (And write the review now, I guess.)

Husband says it fit together easily except for two of the slats, which needed to be... persuaded... with a firm tap from a mallet. Most of the holes lined up easily. The whole assembly process took less than an hour.

Solid, doesn't creak or make weird noises unless we pick the whole thing up to move it around. Son only weighs like 100lbs, so I figure it's not being put through the wringer, but it seems sturdy. Mattress slides around on it, but this can be solved by putting the bed in a corner or putting one of those no-slip rug pads between the mattress and the frame slats.

Big fan of the outlets in the headboard. It means he's keeping all his electronics - phone, earbuds, video game system, etc. - in one designated place. And since the shelf doesn't have gaps/holes/open back for things to fall through, we are playing fewer rounds of the "Mom, where is my (whatever)?" game.

This bed was easy to assemble. My kid and I did it in about 2 hours. The instructions are a bit challenging, but if you look at the numbers and letters in the zoomed portion, it makes it easier. Due to budget limits, I went from a solid wood frame to this bed frame. The frame looks cheaply made, and the wood is not solid( like pressed wood). Time will tell on stability. My kid says it's good for them, so that is a plus. I attached the plug-in unit before I attached the headboard to its base because it looked like it would be complicated after the whole bed was assembled. Also, we built one of the shelves upside down so the cam lock was showing, but it was an easy fix by taking it apart and flipping it over, then retightening the cams. Overall, I am pleased with this budget-friendly bed frame. I will update in the future if it is needed.

Pros: Love the shelving over my head with plug-ins, the price, the simplicity...
Cons: Would have had an incredibly difficult time putting this together without my gf who is an expert at reading diagram-based instructions and differentiating very similar-looking pieces from one another. It was a ton of time and effort. Not looking forward to having to move out of here. Also, my mattress isolates movement completely, but the frame transmits some. One ought not expect something completely solid at this price point, however.

I know the cons section is longer, but it's a pretty great frame now that it's up. Does what I'd hoped, provides a simple bed with storage and power.

Shelves are a bit small but I expected that- I recommend building the shelves first then starting the rest. Can hold someone who is 300 pounds. A bit squeaky but sturdy. It looks beautiful- I love the wood look and thought it was fully wood but it's mainly metal but there is some wood. It was kinda easy to assemble especially with two people working on it made it go by a lot faster. I recommend having a multi tool screw driver thing with multiple heads so it goes by faster but it includes some Allen wrenches.

This bed was very easy to put together. Everything was labeled properly with number stickers to put in order. All of the hardware was packaged and labeled as well. It took about 2 hours with 2 people working together. The usb and outlet plugs are a great bonus feature. I ordered the full size bed frame and purchased a 10” mattress that fits perfect for a small room.

I'm very pleased with this bed frame. I matched it with a Crayan 12" Hybrid Queen Mattress in a box mattress, and it has been the perfect combination for me. What I like most is that the bed frame does not squeak no matter how much romping and moving is going on topside. My mattress fit into the frame perfectly. I also like all of the headboard cubbyholes where I can put my knickknacks, mementos, photos, and such. It took me a couple of hours to assemble the frame because I took my time and removed all the part-number stickers along the way, but I could probably assemble it in less that an hour if I were to do it again. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. This bed frame was very reasonably priced and is very sturdy. I'm happy. Money well-spent!

I'm a fairly handy person and must say that this was a major pain to set up....it could have been a lot easier if they had better diagrams and put some arrows for directions that the pieces should face.. I had to take it apart multiple times because I made the wrong guess. Otherwise it looks pretty good once set up.. but plan for a couple of hours anyway to figure it out.
