First things first. This was delivered by FedEx ground not curbside delivery. This was a little much for the driver it's really heavy. The box is huge! Secondly, throw the instructions away. They're garbage and a waste of time. I spent 20 mins trying to figure out what it was trying to tell me before I said forget it. So I just examined the couch and it became common sense where each screw and bolt went. Assembly took about 15 mins. I'm not sure the dimensions are accurate though. I had an air couch that I also purchased on Amazon and the dimensions of this couch were about one or two inches bigger than those but once assembled it's significantly smaller... The hight is similar but the width from the back to the front it's really short. I'm 5'3.5 and when I sit my knees hang over about 2 in between the end of the cushion if that makes sense. With the ottoman attached it stops at my ankles with my legs stretched out. So if you're tall i wouldn't suggest this couch. But we needed something to hold us over in our small apt until we buy our house. It seems sturdy to me. The cushions are very stiff. We will see how long it lasts. So far so good. Happy with my purchase
Update 10/2018:
It's officially been 10 months and this couch is still very much secure and sturdy. My husband is about 270lbs and im 230 and we both can sit on it together and have room for another person and not break it. I wish the cushions were a little suffe softer by now but this will do. We're moving in a few months.
This is the worst purchase I have ever made. The couch arrived damaged in several spots. The totally fake leather is the worst I have seen. The stitching is coming out. The damage was not done in transit because the cuts and tears were inside the box that were protected by the seat cushions. The back of the couch is supposed to flip up and support the back cushions and it will not flip up straight. The ottoman is too short for the seat cushion, so it does not support your legs the couch is so hard you might as well be sitting on cement. See the pictures for examples. Leather is super cheap. The pillow stuffing does not hold its shape.
You get what you pay for. Cheap product. The cushions to sit on are absolutely horrible and uncomfortable, couch is very short in depth, so if you're over 6', forget it - it'd be more comfortable to sit on the floor. We changed out the seating cusions with regular pillows, it's decent for my wife to sit on now. The legs always get bend, couch stands crooked. The back cushions are okay and somewhat comfortable. Overall, buy a recliner or a futon couch before this product, you get more out of it!
The Sofa is very small - low quality, not happy with the product. The fabric was torn at two sides. While installing the sofa, I noticed that the screw and thread was out of sync on one side - so it was left with out putting. Only good thing I noticed in this purchase is that they delivered the product at my apartment door step ahead of schedule, which was useful so I did not have to carry all the way - So only 2 stars!
The sofa was recently purchased as a gift for my parents. They only had a small living room to work with, in regards to space, so the sofa fits perfectly. The package came with all components and an instruction manual. Assembly process was a breeze. Final assembly dimension is approximately 75.5" (L) by 52" (W, with sectional) by 35" (H, with back cushion). The bottom cushion is definitely firm, but it is as expected for a modern style sofa. For the price, I was surprised at the quality of the product. I would consider purchasing this product again pending whether it is durable (to be determined).
It's cute. It is for a small space. Looks very sleek and is firm. Not bad for the money at all.
If you are looking for a sectional sofa that will fit in a small 10 foot by 12 foot room, this will work. Seat depth is not great and the cushions are very firm initially. Only after two months of use have the cushions started to soften, greatly improving comfort. I ended up having to purchase a small foot stool to help with the shallow seat depth, which unless you sit upright is pretty uncomfortable. No one sits that way at home--maybe at the dentist's office. Overall, this little sectional is a pretty good value. I rate it better than "dorm furniture".
Reeeeeally impressed with this sub 300 dollar sofa. It’s not super plush and inclined to swallow you up like grandpa’s la-z-boy but it’s quite comfy and practical. Easily accommodates two adults... three if they’re fond of each other. The simplicity of this couch is brilliant. It comes in a box with no space wasted and assembles in minutes. If the bonded leather and associated stitching on this furniture last a couple years I’ll stand by my five star assessment. Great deal.
