Very happy with this purchase. The bed arrived ahead of schedule, and everything was well packaged so no damage occurred despite the heavy weight. I was able to assemble it without assistance, and all of the pieces fit together properly. (If you have trouble with any legs being the wrong length, look again at the directions for which letter goes in which position - you likely just have the wrong part in hand. If you can't seem to fit the slats into your assembled outer frame, just slide one end all the way into its slot, then lower the other end into position, even the slat out between the slots, and *then* fit the positioning notches together. TIP: The little square plastic clips that push in to hold the slats in place are not reversible! One side has a lip and the other is flush with the push-in barbs. You want to install them with the lip facing AWAY from the slat, or you will have very sore thumbs.) The curved washers that fit smoothly against the headboard and footboard outer supports/legs are a very nice touch.

The directions could be a little easier to understand, but if you look closely and make sure you pay attention to the details, they are serviceable enough. I'm really pleased with the nice high headboard, which shows all of its decorative detail even above my upright body pillow with my 10-inch mattress. Also love the nice low footboard, especially as I was really hesitant to get a bed with a footboard at all! I haven't bruised myself on it yet, after a week's use. I've got a heavy queen Purple mattress on this bed, as well as my ~150-lb. self, and there's been no hint of wobbling or squeaking, no matter how much I move around. I love having over 12 inches of height beneath the bed for storage, too. This bed looks just like the images, looks great in my bedroom, and it's very practical as well, and although it was a lot of work disassembling and removing the old one and putting this one together, it was well worth it and I have no complaints. Highly recommended!

Slight update: The bed actually doesn't look JUST like the images - the decorative knobs are similar and the placement is the same, but they're shaped more like little beehives. (I've added a close-up pic for detail viewing.) The solder spots could also be a bit more smooth and blended in. It still looks great though, and for the price, I still give it five stars.

I'm very pleased with this frame. It took a while to get here but it's worth the wait. I usually have lots of pillows on my bed and if I put them all on, I can't see the bars on the headboard. But if I take some pillows off, I can see them and the whole bed looks better. You can see the difference in the two photos I provided. It took me about 3 hours to finish putting it together but I am a small, "older", female and I had to carry the pieces a few at a time from the basement to the second floor. But it was very easy to put together. Instructions are good if you are careful to look at the pictures. It's sturdy and the height is perfect for storage under the bed. I was able to put a bed skirt on it by cutting and hemming the corners. I don't like being able to see under the bed. I like the finished look. So that's that. Good luck purchasing this bed frame. I definitely recommend it.

This bed looks so nice in my daughter’s room. Her room has a warm French romance vibe to it and the bed went perfectly with the decor. I flopped down on it after assembly and it did not make a move or noise. Love the clips to keep the cross bars in place. I also love the placement of the support beams under the bed. I believe the placement of the bars on her old bed is why that bed didn’t survive. I’m very pleased and impressed with this bed and so happy that the quality is so great for this price.

So far this bed is sturdy and a perfect fit. Instructions were easy, you can put this together by yourself. It came with all of the screws and it was labeled correctly. It lost a star because some of the pieces were a little rusted and discolored. In the grand scheme of things it doesn’t look like it matters much because you can’t tell when it’s put together. You get what you pay for. I think for the price, it is what it is.

Once it’s put together, it’s very hard to move it on carpet. I’m scared that it will break or bend the middle pieces. Keep that in mind if you like to have it against the wall when it comes time to change the sheets.

There is great storage space underneath, I’m able to fit my extra large rolling luggage underneath so that’s a plus. It doesn’t creak or make any noise when getting in and out of it. Overall it’s a great bed frame!

I love it and it was so easy to put together and complete . I did it myself all in like 2 and a half hours. Was extremely easy and the instructions are very helpful. The only thing I have as a flaw is for the support bars, two of the side parts on where they go in, they weren’t popped in but that was nothing a hammer and screw driver couldn’t fix. Seems very sturdy and doesn’t make much noise. Fits in my room perfect. Also love the black color! Def get it!!! You won’t regret it!

Was really worried about squeaking. Old metal beds were so squeaky everytime you would move. This is totally silent. Very easy to put together. Very clear instructions. Different screws and washers, clearly labeled with extras in case of problems. So easy I had my kiddos helping too. Love it! Under bed storage is a bonus.

The bed is very pretty but it came with nicks in the paint. It looks like it probably happened in the shipping. I'm concerned that where it's nicked, the paint will continue to chip away

It was easy to assemble and looks nice, but it came dented in a few places. I was able to put it together with most of the dents on the inside so they are less visible, but you can definitely see if you're looking for them.
