This turned out to be a very nice side table in my living room. I wanted something a little wider than what I had in that particular spot. I do wish it was as long as the couch. I love that it has a USB and plug that way I could get do away with a lot of cords. It was fairly easy to put together. I did it by myself. (I'm 69 yrs old). I admit that it would have been easier if I would have had someone to help hold it at certain times, but I was able to accomplish it. And the drawers work great no sticking they shut. It looks good.! I was hoping to buy something that was a little less expensive. But I will say it is a solid piece.
Love the end tables. We purchased a set in cherry. They are beautiful and the quality is excellent. Plenty of room on shelf and in drawers. The parts were packaged very well when received .The directions were easy to follow however, you need to be patient - allow a couple of hours to put together. Final product is worth the work.
I bought 2 of these. One had a minor defect on one of the parts. I requested a replacement part, but when the seller couldn't come up with the part in a timely manner, he sent me an entire new unit. There are a lot of pieces and parts to these, but the instructions aren't too hard to follow. For those who give it low marks because of cheap quality ,etc. I don't think you can expect hand crafted, solid wood construction for this price. It is a nice looking, functional, sturdy table at a reasonable price. I give them 5 stars, for a good product and great customer service.
I like the look and functionality of this side table. It went together well, it but has so many parts, and pieces, it takes a really long time to get them all together. The directions are easy to follow.
The only issue was that the pre-drilled holes are different on the bottom shelf so the wooden dowels didn't fit so well. There is glue included, so it wasn't a big deal.
The top was also slightly damaged, but also not a big deal. All in all, this was a quality piece of furniture and we are glad we purchased it.
I like that the USB ports and A/C outlets are underneath the top, so the top is clean and clear for my lamp and clock. The drawers are large, and can fit a big box of tissues inside.
Supper functional with all the outlets and ports. Our table lamp fits nicely on top with plenty of space for a couple of drinks and more. The open space just below the top is a great space to store our lap top & can be charging as ports are provided. The 2 drawers are very substantial , not tiny unusable ones that many tables have theses days. One of the main features that tipped the scales for me to oder this particular table was the very nicely done bottom of table. It looks sturdy instead of those tables with little stick pieces for legs. The colors are current, really like the white/wash and the darker top piece. Everyone that sees our table is impressed & asks which furniture store did I find the nice table in??
We really liked the style of these end tables when we saw them online. We knew they were not real wood when we ordered but based on other reviews we figured we would try them. We purchase tempered glass to place on top of them to protect them from scratches and or potential spills. These are well constructed and easy to assemble with the directions. The color was a little confusing as in one area online it mentions Black and in another spot it mentions Olive Brown. I would consider them a Dark Olive Brown, and we really like the color. We like the power block feature and the double drawers. Definitely would not hesitate to order again or in a different color if needed.
Looks nice and convenient to have outlets within reach
I had to assemble all parts together. However, I could follow the instructions as the illustrations are detailed with all pieces and hardware are labeled. Even though it says not to use a power drill, I used one anyway because it's much faster. Yet, I put it on slow setting and didn't break anything. Besides, I completed the assembly in less than 30 minutes, even though I got stuck twice. The problem was I had parts of the drawers in the wrong orientation because I rushed through and didn't pay enough attention.
Once done with the assembly, my end table stands about 24 inches tall and 18 by 18 inches wide and weighs roughly 40 pounds or more. Its legs are in exact alignment with the ground, thus it's stable and level, without any wobbling or tilting.
The drawers have large, elegant drawer knobs. I hear a low noise when I slide out and in the drawers. I can pull the drawers out completely when I press a lever on each side upwards inside the drawer glides. I measured the inside dimensions of the drawers. Both have a height of about 4.5 inches, with an approximate width and length of 11 by 11 inches.
My finished end table has a beautiful, unpainted surface with a natural shine. The wood grain looks natural and elegant. It adds a vintage vibe to my home.
The built-in grounded AC power outlets and USB ports in my end table charge all of my devices. I don't need any long cords or bulky extension cords. It includes two AC power outlets, two fast-charging USB ports (one Quick Charge and one Power Delivery Type-C), and one regular USB port. I've been charging my devices with these ports for a month or so. They didn't damage or overheat any of them, so I guess the outlets are safe to use.
