I really like the continuous spiral design of this, and it works really well for getting things out of deep-frying oil. I found it very easy to control and the hot oil drained from it very quickly, so I noticed very little oil dripping from it as I transferred things out of the oil. I haven't quite figured out exactly how to set my cooktop to maintain the oil temperature, so I had a lot going on between messing with the batter and maintaining the oil temperature, so it was really nice that removing things from the hot oil was not something I had to even think about, because this worked so effortlessly. I found it very easy to use whether trying to remove just one onion ring at a time, or scooping up all my fish in one shot, and it was very easy to clean when I was done.

This item is excellent to retrieve items that are being deep fried from the cooker. Shipping was ok, item arrived on time and with no issues. Good for small to medium sized items in my opinion. After use wash in warm soapy water, dry and store. Overall good item that works as designed.

Use this when I fry foods, it lightweight and easy to clean. I do recommend drying with a towel as the web portion will rust.

It’s exactly what you’d expect, but with classic MadeIn quality.

Used it to fry whole fish and other things and there were no problems. It’s incredible strong and will not bend. The length is perfect for home cooks and it cleans up easy.

Well made, well packaged, and useful.

This is for the fryer in your life. The one that makes you onion rings. When that person sticks their fingers into the pot of boiling oil while eyeing you with tenderness so that they can retrieve your fried goodies, and you simultaneously feel loved and guilty.

Well. Now you can just feel loved.

This will grab those fried goods with a grand reduction in oil carried from the pot. An evening of frying and we only diminished a cup or so of oil from our two liters. This is a nice tool. It is weighty and handles well after hours of use.

If you plan on frying things I can easily recommend it.

This is a good spider overall. They shape is good for what it does and the size is good for a variety of different size pots. The handle is long enough to stay clear of most splatters and hot oil. It is nice to have tools like this that are dishwasher safe especially with all of the little crevices to get into; just throw it in a load and it comes out looking new. The only complaint is the finish on the ends of the wires where they meet the lip of the bowl because they are incredibly sharp. So much so I knocked them down with sandpaper before I used it. They are sharp enough to scratch skin and pans easily and should be finished better at this price point. Otherwise, a nice Made In addition to the kitchen.

This performs perfectly. Scooping out cooked spaghetti, fishing boiled shrimp out, whatever. It is easy to clean and comfortable to hold. Very nice.
