It was the right size, 13 gal. It looks great. It's easy to clean. Spray or wipe any smudges and it looks shiny new. There are no indentations or folds where dirt can collect making it hard to clean. A 13 gal. trash bag fits well and the can has a removable holder which fits around the rim sealing the space between the bag and can so that nothing can fall between the bag and can which keeps the interior of the can just as clean as the day you set it up. The top which contains the lid and mechanics for the automatic lid opener is removable. It houses 4 C cell batteries (not included) easily replaceable. This is the perfect can for those who don't like touching the lid when discarding garbage. Two motion sensors will automatically open the lid as you bring the garbage near and will close automatically when you leave. It has a tiny on/off switch in the back to turn off the power saving the batteries when you don't intend to use the can for awhile. The lid fits well confining smells to the inside of the can. The can is very light but heavy enough to stay in place with a plastic bottom which won't scratch the floor. What else do you look for in the perfect can? The price for such a can is reasonable too It would be super reasonable if shipping was included but it isn't and it's shipped from China. It also takes a few days for delivery which is understandable considering its place of origin. I bought two, one for garbage and the other for recyclables. They look great no matter where you place them.

I never thought I'd be excited about a trash can but this is the coolest trash can ever! It looks great but the functionality is incredible. If my hands are wet or dirty all I have to do is wave a part of my arm over it and it opens automatically and after a few seconds closes. Sturdy, functional, somewhat air tight and looks great. I would highly recommend this item!

This is a great value for the price paid. Takes four C batteries. I haven’t had to replace them yet so I’m not sure how long they last but I will try to update this when I do. It is pretty, easy to clean, and easy to use with the motion opening lid.

Very sturdy. Functions well either way sensors. Easy to clean. Easy to remove lid to remove trash. Color matches everything well. Keeps the smell of garbage to a minimum.

I think it is great. I have seen other cans that look like mine but the lid doesn't open automatically like mine it is so cool. I love it. It makes me laugh everytime I go by it . And it amazingly to alot of people

The perfect size for a 13 gallon trash bag. Works great. Looks great in my kitchen and the ease of use is so much better not having to come in co tact with the kid, bag stays securely in place. Would purchase again. Great price.

Initially I was going to give this trash can a four-star review. The sensor on the can was activating the lid....... I'd say around 90% of the time. I was really looking for something better than that because when you have a handful of food the whole idea of a no-touch trash can is that the dang thing opens when you want it to.
90 percent is pretty good I guess but I am impatient and it may be a 20 buck trash can but I expect better right?
Well I made an interesting discovery. Like most things these days, there are things that are just aren't in the instruction manual that you should know. One of these is the fact that the sensor and buttons on the front of the lid that control the hinged lid has a cover on it. You know one of those clear plastic static clean covers that you don't even know is there unless you take a fingernail and scratch a little bit?
Some folks think that you should leave that on there and it should stay on there. I call BS. It's a no touch lid. There's no reason for it to be on there other than the fact that it causes interference with the sensor I took it off and guess what? Yeah, the dang thing works almost every single time which is what you want.
This thing is NOT made of flimsy materials. Is it built like a tank? No. But it's not going to dent or break with normal use either. It's a helluva deal for 20 bucks. Yeah, they get ya on the shipping but even with that, head on out to your local Walmart, target, Meijer or whatever and try to buy a comparable can for 40 bucks. Good luck with that.

I replaced an older model where the sensor was becoming unreliable and the new trash can is a tad disappointing. It is less tall and uses smaller batteries. The metal part is more flimsy. I wish I could replace just the top part for my old can.

The can is a really nice size so works efficiently for me. The lid works automatically and is secure enough when closed to keep odours inside. The stainless steel body is attractive. I highly recommend it.

It works well once you have the perfect bag for the inside no drainage from the bags. Actually, there’s no problem at this time maybe as time goes on things will change because I just start using it recently. It fits perfectly where my old one was actually the same color Silver I certainly would recommend it to want anyone looking for a great garbage bin. PS deliver it was very swift. Thank you.

I got this to replace my Nine Star brand motion sensor trash bin. I was highly disappointed in that one because I paid close to $100 and it stopped working correctly after two months of use (lid would only open 60% of the way; would open 100% with fresh batteries but return to 60% after a few weeks of use). The trash bin failed to open all together after a little over 2 years of use.

That said, I had my doubts about this one so I decided to use it for a few months first before leaving a review. Andddd so far so good! Sensor is responsive. Lid still opens all the way and stays open for about 8 seconds. I’ve also have not changed the batteries yet. The only thing I’ve noticed coming from my old trash bin is that it is slightly smaller.

Out of all the stainless steel garbage bins I’ve bought in my life, this is by far the WORST!!!

I bought this bin, because it came with a battery operated motion sensor that enables the lid to open and close touch-less!

Not only was the lid defective and it did not work (Manufacturing Defect) the body of the bin came with dents and scratches!!!

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible product!!!

You are better off getting another stainless steel garbage container that’s cheaper and of much better quality!

Stay away from this crap!
